  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

This is still on my mind. Personally I don't feel that people should have fit into a specific category of being heterosexual, bi, etc. They just feel that sex isn't important to them. However at the same time, some people feel they should identify as being heterosexual, homosexual, etc. I for the most part would consider myself heterosexual.

Bringing up the issue of how come it seems that more girls are calling themselves bisexual, it seems more of a fad instead of really just understanding their own sexuality. To me, kissing when a woman kisses another woman, it doesn't qualify her as being bisexual. And I truly feel that many of them do it just to fulfill a heterosexual male's fantasy. There are a lot things to explore here.

Yeah, it's something to ponder. Are any of you familiar with the television show "The L Word?" Just wondering if you are.

I'm definitely familiar. Just watched the season premiere last night.

I just watch it sporadically. But I didn't really become interested in it until Pam Grier joined the cast. Anywho, I wonder if the show does a good job of portraying how lesbians live. One thing I believe is accurate is the character Moria/Max. Remember the episode he revealed to a girl he was dating that he was transgendered and she called him a freak? Yeah, I think that reaction is accurate.

Man, I'm jealous you got to see the season premiere, I don't have Showtime anymore.

On the other hand, there are still those who deny their feelings and natural orientation to fit into the expected pattern of Christian marriage.

I think its not completely accurate. It can be overly dramatic, as a lot of tv can be. But also there has some criticism that it does not represent the lesbian community very well. So yes and no.
You can watch the premiere on ourchart.com, which how I watched it.
