hey guys, i can't remember where i heard/read this but it really speaks to me and it's now one of my favourtie sayings, some of you probably allready know it and i'm not gonna claim it as my own(i wish i could be that good a phrase making) any way here goes.... You don't have a soul, "you are a soul you have a body" i think that saying is awsome and it really makes me feel comfortable, not sure why it just does. i hope you all can enjoy it and use it and get something from it like i did

We are triune when we are born again. Spirit, soul, and flesh. Somehow, when God gives us new life by being born again, death is overcome and the person becomes whole.

John 3:4 Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?"
5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
6 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 "Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

I always think of it like the verses in the NT that say that this world is not our home. We were created for heaven... that is the most comforting thought. That God didn't create us for the pain that we have brought upon ourselves in the world, but rather he made us for His glory.

We're only in a vessel (our true being-our spirit). Heaven is my home. This is my temporary living development!
