I'm reading Michael Crichton's State of Fear which is about this very subject. Though it's a work of fiction, he's included great research references which pretty much disprove all the global warming arguments. In addition, in the 1980's all the hue and cry was about a soon-coming ice age.

I agree that the earth is showing extremes of temps (both hot and cold) and extremes of weather (drought and flooding), but I consider them more signs of the times than otherwise.

Think about it - what is this global warming business except some sort of Mother Nature worship?

Now to our topic. I am one of those to does believe that much of the Global Warming rhetoric is aimed at filling a person such as Al Gore's pocket book. It is obvious from the way he keeps his property that he does not practice what he preaches.

I believe that Christians should be good stewards of God's creation. After all, for the time being, it is our bed that we have to sleep in. I, for one, do not want to sleep in a fouled bed.
