I have been scanning some of these threads, and it makes me laugh about the ignorance and lack of understanding from so called fellow christians.
Anti-Apostolic and Anti-Catholic christians saying that the catholic church has another gospel etc..... Are gospel is called the bible just so things are clear.
I met many people of the Reformed and Lutheran faith from europe, mainly Germany, Netherlands and Switzerland. They instead of being anti-catholic were interested in the history of the catholic church because it was their heritage. Their history and ours is intertwined and they wanted to learn, not because they wanted to become Roman Catholic, but rather to learn about their own heritage.
There are people here who act like Roman Catholics are not Christian. That would mean everyone from the Protestant faiths are not Christian too.
Lets make something clear, the Christians native to the Holy Land are either of Eastern Orthodox or Oriental Orthodox heritage and definately not Protestant.
Whom are Catholic and believe in 7 sacraments, apostolic succesion, Faith and good works, not faith alone, bible and tradition, not bible alone, etc....
They have lived there since Christ and they are of the Church of Christ through apostolic succession of the line of James.
By this alone shows that the Catholic church has always been there.
This is not me trying to say Protestants are wrong and this thread is not to offend anyone, but rather to make everyone think that we are of the same cloth. We all believe that Christ died for the sins and mankind which is the most important thing of all.
So whether you are of the apostolic faiths, Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Anglican and some Lutheran churchs or of the Protestant faiths, we should try to learn from each other rather than throw insults from one to another.
We all have a common history in Christ and should learn from one another instead of trading insults.
In other words think before you speak...
