  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I got a new cell phone that takes pictures and I am supposed to be able to email them and also IM people. I can take the pictures, and it acts like it is emailing them, but I never receive them, and I can't get on IM either. GRRRR. I just got it last night, so I know I must be doing something wrong. :cry: HELP!!! It's a Motorola V400 with Dobson service. Can someone baby-talk me through it?

It was a gift, and I think I do......(they told my husband it was.) I can get on the web and read news and stuff on it. But when I try to set up IM, it asks for port, and other stuff I have no way of figuring out (due to my computer/phone retardation) and the email I try to send pictures to, now says "unable to complete" or something. Help, John, Help! I've read the book, and I'm doing what it says!!!!!
