No, I dont understand it.

Tell me how, that just because Jesus was born of a virgin, it makes God his father.

God is everyones father. Someone explain to me how Jesus is Gods real, and not metaphorical son, just because God created him in the womb, instead of by a mans seed - WHICH is not at all difficult for a being that can do anything he so wills.

How does that make Jesus Gods actual son?

Everyone else has God, Mother and Father.
God made Jesus without a Father.

Thats all.

That was the sign that the Messiah was here.
It was for no other purpose.

Its was the sign to say to everyone else "this is the one your looking for".

"Therfore the LORD will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and she will call him Immanuel."

For what reason do you call Jesus the Son of God?
More because God testified that Jesus was his only begotten Son, would have something to do with it probably.

And when was this?

How about these?
John 1: 17-18 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

John 3: 15-18
15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

1 John 4: 8- 10
8He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

10Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Hey what do you think of this Scripture?
Matthew 17: 1-9

1After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. 3Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.

4Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters–one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.”

5While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”

6When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to the ground, terrified. 7But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Don't be afraid.” 8When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus.

9As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus instructed them, “Don't tell anyone what you have seen, until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.” (emph. added)
Isn't Jesus saying He's going to die, and then be raised from the dead? :)

More along the lines of his baptism;
Matthew

Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be abaptized of him.
14*But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?

15*And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

16*And Jesus, when he was abaptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

17*And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

G-d forbid! KJV. *sheesh*

I didn't realize that the Mormon church dwells on Ol' Jimmy as well.

Just kidding.
