  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

While I agree that God is something, there was nothing prior to God creating something out of nothing.

God existed prior to the universe, and God is something. Also, God needs a realm to exist in, so there is another universe that God can see and experience. Something from something.

While naturalism must provide how nothing created nothing from nothing. That is impossible.

We already showed you that it does happen. You can lead a horse to water . . .

In this case, we have something it is appearing from out of nothing. The universe exists and is something so these particles that "appear out of nothing" really are appearing out of something...the universe.

Yes, an area of the universe where there is nothing. Something from nothing.

I think I've shown the argument proves to be on the side of Christianity...the clear winner.

The Black Knight returns.

What?

We can observe something coming from nothing. We cannot observe God, how is that a clear win for Christianity?

No, we see something coming from something. These particles are in the universe which is something.
