CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Just for the record, bro. The quote in my signature and the reply to you, "Lighten up, Francis", both come from the same movie. I have no idea how old you are, since you've chosen not to reveal anything about yourself, other than you're a Christian male, but in case you're too young, or maybe just never saw the movie, it's called Stripes. It was a pretty funny flick. The Bill Murray character is where the "Chics dig me..." quote came from. His sergeant said, "Lighten up Francis" to one of his fellow soldiers who was busy telling everyone how he'd kill them if they touched his stuff.

Hahahaha, that's awesome. Phil, you should probably cut your losses here. White Horse, you'll probably have better luck in the singles section; this is more for people who are already in relationships and cranky atheists.
