Here are some Christmas carols that you may wish to include in your repertoire.

I've bolded the universalist parts so that you can sing these bits out with particular gusto!

'Tis the season for universalism. Merry Christmas to all.

Hark! The Herald Angels Sing – Charles Wesley, George Whitfield

Hail the heaven-born Prince of Peace!
Hail the Sun of Righteousness!

Light and life to all He brings
Risen with healing in His wings

The First Nowell – Traditional English carol

Then let us all with one accord
sing praises to our heavenly Lord
who hath made heaven and earth of nought,
and with his blood mankind hath bought.

Joy to the World! The Lord is Come – Isaac Watts

Joy to the world, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
let ev’ry heart prepare him room
and heav’n and nature sing,
and heav’n and nature sing,
and heav’n, and heav’n and nature sing.

Joy to the earth, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ,
while fields and floods, rocks, hills, and plains,
repeat the sounding joy,
repeat the sounding joy,
repeat, repeat the sounding joy.

No more let sins and sorrows grow
nor thorns infest the ground;

he comes to make his blessings flow
far as the curse is found
,
far as the curse is found,
far as, far as the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace
and makes the nations prove
the glories of his righteousness
and wonders of his love,
and wonders of his love,
and wonders, wonders of his love.

Christ is Born – The Carpenters

Glory, Glory to almighty God
And on earth peace to all men
Hear the joyful angels singing
Alleluia, Alleluia

He is born
Let us adore him
Christ the Lord
King of Kings
Prince of Peace

For all the universe
Alleluia, Alleluia

O Come, O Come, Immanuel – J.M. Neale

O come, Desire of Nations, bind
All peoples in one heart and mind
Bid envy, strife and quarrels cease
Fill all the world with heaven’s peace

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen – English Traditional Carol

God rest ye merry gentlemen
Let nothing you dismay
Remember Christ our Savior
Was born on Christmas Day
To save us all from Satan’s pow’r
When we were gone astray
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
Comfort and joy
Oh tidings of comfort and joy

Awesome topic, thanks!

"One of these things is not like the others..."

The Carpenters? ---- Seriously? - LOL

Just kidding. Great list.
The Carpenters, and the carpenter, are kind of Christmassy though!

Looking forward to listening to your own renditions soon...

Here's a favorite Christmas album. Not sure about the Christian Universalist aspect, but I like it.
A nice change of pace from the trad. offerings.

The comments say it all. (at least the ones on top. (didn't scan down too far)
