Some threads have no rep buttons.

Some threads seem to have little lightbulb buttons so you can rep a poster, but some don't. For example, in the Anabaptist forum, this thread has no rep buttons:

But this thread has rep buttons:

Is there a problem with rep buttons displaying?

In case of problems like this, could you add a rep option to the pop-up menu you get when clicking on the member name at the top of a post?

I looked into it, and the primary cause for this will be the user being banned.

I know there's no rep button on a banned user's posts, but when I posted this I noticed that sometimes the buttons were missing from posts of other users, as well.

Since then, I noticed what seems to be a pattern. Is it only possible to rep a post that is fairly recent? Is there a time limit, so the rep button disappears after a post is so old?

I read somewhere that the Rep button dissappears after 2 weeks or a month ?
