Hello. I am neither graceful nor creative when it comes to dancing. I can pretend in that something I have practiced 100x for a month comes fairly easily, but I can't make up something to dance!
The point.
I am in a production of the musical Godspell, and have been put to choreographing Judas' part on "It's all for the best". It is soft shoe, where Judas' part is a bit more upbeat.
Could someone who is familiar with the music choreograph something for me? Or help in some way??
I'll edit in a link of the music for those unfamiliar with the song:

It's in windows media audio format. I will be singing it a bit more staccato than in this recording, but this is the idea.
The part I am responsible for is the quick part ("(&)Some (4)men (&)are (1)born (e)to (&)live (a)at (2)ease (&)do(a)ing (3)what (e)they (&)please..."), and then the time where both sing together, we'd like to have something choreographed for the both of us to do simultaneously (obviously), and the second/last time something different (but if the first time together we just do our individual dances simultaneously that we did the first time by ourselves, I don't think it would be that bad) choreographed together: my buddy is more creative than I and could probably do it, but some dancers would probably have better ideas than we.
The props can be anything (I guess) but he and I both have canes (primarily). He has just thrown his own to me and I begin. When I finish my individual thing, I throw mine to him and someone throws me another from OS.
Any suggestions/comments would be great!
