Percular answers, considering that some people feel that God had no plans for humanity to eat meat.

Might not have been His first plan but if He "knows the end from the beginning", then He would have forseen the need to eat meat. Call it Plan B or something.

I think that's why He made those creatures taste so good.

He did not forbid the Isrealites to eat meat but He did set some guidelines to follow.

Is there any indication, in Scripture, that non-Isrealites should be under the same dietary laws?

Nope Joey none... and no indication that those laws are still binding today for Jews except for personal choice...
