Some PSP News.

Hey everyone, for anyone who is interested in the PSP, here are some game titles coming out around release (I think all are launch titles but I could be wrong):

If one is not a launch title it should be out within a month of the release. Also, Rockstar just announced the production of Grand Theft Auto for the PSP. It will be set in Liberty City. Rockstar also announced Midnight Club 3: DUB. Another game coming out sometime in 2005 is Gran Turismo 4. It has been said they it will NOT be a direct port of the PS2 version. So all in all it looks like a great launch line up and some great months ahead of the PSP.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Fifa 05 will be like on the PSP...should be pretty good. The next PSP game that I'm going to pick up is "Shin sangokumusou". I have no idea if Koei is planning on releasing it in North America, but it's been quite popular in Japan since it went on sale last month.

It is coming out in the US. Its actually up there in the list. Its Dynasty Warriors. I ordered an import Shin Sangoku Musou on Friday. It will be here tomorrow. I really liked the other Dynasty Warrior games so this should be a good one. Too bad I dont know Japanese. It would be very helpful for imported games.

Ahh, good choice. I've only seen the TV commercials for shin sangokumusou, haven't actually played it, but it looks pretty good. I'll probably pick it up sometime later this week.

Ridge Racers is another good one, but probably the best PSP game released so far (at least in my opinion) is the new "Eiyuu densetsu" title. It's an RPG though, so if you can't speak Japanese, I wouldn't recommend importing it!

Hmm...havent even heard of the RPG. When did it release?

I already have Ride Racer. I am still trying to figure out the Xlink Kai so I can play it online. I have been successful once in playing against other people. The person I raced against seemed to speak Japanese only, so I couldnt really talk to him.

But Dynasty Warriors 3 for PS2 was really good. I assume it was called Shin Sangoku Musou 3 in Japan. Ill let you know my first impressions tomorrow.

Well, I got it. Its fun, though I dont really know what I am doing. It is all in Japanese. Not half english half japanese like other games I have seen.

I think that you'll find most Japanese games will be entirely in Japanese. Ridge Racers has some English, but it's used more as a stylistic device to create the atmosphere of an international driving competition.

Well the Puyo Pop Fever I know is completely in English. Odd for saying its a Japanese game... Anyways, I have figure out kinda what to do. Still alot of things I probably dont know about but I am getting along. It is fun. My K.O. Count right now is 643

They continue to bring back these games year in and year out all these titles that debuted on Playstation but they don't ever bring back Jet Moto.

I heard that the PSP sould cost around like $506 thats at least what someone on ACF said. he said if it isn't out by next x-mas it sould be out by 2006 or 7

It WILL be out in March....confirmed by Sony (Not a specific date though.) And, it has already been confirmed it will release for under $200. All that is confirmed so, it will be here before 2006 and it will be WAY below $500... Most likely prices are 199.99 or 149.99.

Yea you cant really believe things online unless they are actaully confirmed. The March and Under 200 pricepoint have been confirmed in many of the press conferences with Sony.

I think I read in a Magazine or somthing that Ridge racer got caned on PSP and is only on Ds state side and I dont know for sure but maybe dynasty wariors too (I know its coming out for Ds and Koei said it would likly be on PSP too but Sony hasnt confirmed that yet)

Ridge Racer and Dynasty Warriors have already been confirmed to be released at the US launch.

I have the Japanese versions and they are awesome, especially for a portable game.
