CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I would like to be my husband for a day. I just think it would help me to appreciate who he is, and what he has to deal with. Oh by the way...he would have to be me for that same day.

I wouldn't mind being a wealthy woman who could have in her employ someone to do all the daily household chores that I do...while I did things like sit by the pool, or get my hair done, or lunch with friends. Just for a day...that would be a real treat.

Today I wouldn't mind being Meryl Streep for the day...just to know what it felt like to be a truly talented, humerous, kind and yet still apparently humble woman. She's such a classic.

Leader of the Banned...I ditto what Missionarypoet said. It's what I've been telling my husband for years. "Why do you want to be able to figure out women? We can't even figure ourselves out." Besides...women are an ever changing phenomena. By the time you think you know what makes us us...we'll have changed completely. Just go with it...and enjoy the ride. It's not like you have much of a choice anyway...so why sweat it. Got to face it...Women aren't math.
