yeah, thanks, I guess we will see. Only the hearts that will be open may see the truth will see it, you can only do as much as you can do. The rest is up to the Holy Spirit. We just need to be obedient.

I did my best too. People looove that Catholic National quote about the pope being "Jesus Christ himself." I've seen it before to make similar arguments, but they are taking it out of context. The rest of the article/paragraph probably had something to do with dogma. I also did my best to clear up that and someone's quote about Mary.

Where do they get that Catholic National quote anyway? They must have read it in some kind of propaganda, because they certainly did not hunt down a magazine from 1895. :p

Well, that was annoying, huh guys? I don't get how that one person persisted on saying such nasty things without even trying to understand the Catholic position. He was just basing his derogatory comments on a willful misrepresentation that he didn't *want* explained or elucidated.

Do you notice that most people who post about the "Pope as Catholic idol" misconception, would rather just believe it than even half-heartedly attempt to understand a Pope's real function?

They've started another one, asking if praying for Hitler is witchcraft. lol.

I think it's best to leave it alone. People believe what they want to believe. And most people tend to hold on to thngs they were taught as a child. It's only when one has a desire to seek and know the truth, God will show them the way.

Woooo Simon, you were a bit zealos don't you think? 7 posts in a row. I did not wish for the thread to be closed, it was a good oportunity to present truth to those who did not know, not slam them to the floor (except for the ones that needed it :)) But for those type of folks, it would have been best not to respond to them, but instead just present factual truth in a post.

ukok: Sometimes you have to address the non-informed, is that not our call? That is what evangelism is all about, you are not always going to get 100% feedback, but I believe it is better to try. God can plant seeds that we may never know, we just need to be instruments for His will. :)
