ok tonight at dinner my mom(who has been Catholic her hole life) denied the Holy Trinity, why I dont know. I showed her passages out of the Bible and out of the Cathechism about it,yet she still refused it. What blew my mind even more was that She said that the Bible must be wrong, when it comes to the Trinity. Any help on this would be great, im hoping she will comes back to the way she was before.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Actually, the "Trinity" is never found in the Bible, but the doctrine of the Trinity is a required belief for Christians..

I'll be praying for your mom.The truth will always prevail. You must pray against the stronghold in her mind to be broken so that she can receive the truth. Remember, God's Word never goes out void and will accomplish what it is set out to accomplish. So, she once knew the truth and then believed a lie, but she's only confused and God will enlighten her to the truth. Have faith in the power of God's Word.
