They are the things which touch our hearts deeply.
Those which create the forever memories.
They are those words which cut so deeply
we wonder if we will ever find enough of
Gods love for the healing of it all.
Those words have to do with those we love.
Equally difficult for the sayer,
as well as the hearer.
They are a tribulation in themselves,
the very fire which God uses to temper us.
Glimpses perhaps through spiritual eyes,
revealing a place we really don't want to be.
An instant in season method of our God,
to show us that He is in control
of everything in life.
Lazarus revelations,they are the hard things,
words for which God is the only answer.
Immediate crushings that you can do nothing
but cry out to your God, in tears and prayer.
"Mom,dad, I'm gay,"
"Your child has less than six months to live."
"Your daughter was hit by a drunk driver,
we did all we could,but she never regained
consciousness."
"I don't love you,and haven't since five years
after we married,I want a divorce."
"I don't want anything to do with "your" God."
"And he went a little farther, and fell on his
face, and prayed saying, O my Father, if it be
possible,let this cup pass from me: nevertheless
not as I will, but as thou wilt."
