OK, never mind. If you think any of your post had anything to do with evolution, I can't help you.I think I've described how it's very much logically possible, and doesn't conflict with science, and you guys can either take it or leave it, etc...
And you also still have yet to show me otherwise still also, other than just saying it is still also, etc...?
Which isn't a very valid or reasonable argument at all still also, etc...
Your just saying so still, etc...
Anyway, take it or leave it...
It assumes it and doesn't contradict it.OK, never mind. If you think any of your post had anything to do with evolution, I can't help you.
Why would I need help with something we both already understand and/or agree upon, etc...?OK, never mind. If you think any of your post had anything to do with evolution, I can't help you.
You guys are not being very logical...
Why would I need help with something, or whatever, etc, that is already assumed and agreed upon fully already, etc...?
Like I said, not very logical, etc...?
God Bless!
Because you need to accept Jesus' first. So why don't we just accept your superior knowledge of the Bible, then?
Because you need to accept Jesus' first.
Then I take it you won't accept anyone else's?I accept the existence of Jesus, the fact of his ministry, and the fact of his death, but if you think I'm going to accept the miracle claims -- fat chance. That ship has sailed.
Because you need to accept Jesus' first.
Then I take it you won't accept anyone else's?
We call that nowhere land a "mission field."Which gets us nowhere in the C/E debate.
If you won't accept Jesus' miracles, will you accept the claims of someone else's miracle?Anyone else's what, AV?
If you won't accept Jesus' miracles, will you accept the claims of someone else's miracle?
Like Fatima? consubstantiation? the Shroud of Turan?
Makes me wonder why unbelievers don't just say that in the first place, rather than try and pwn someone's claim piecemeal style. Why should I? They are without good evidence. (Though I thought you were asking about non-Christian miracles, frankly.)
Until there is good evidence I won't believe in the Fatima thing, the Shroud of Turan, the Turban of Shran, or even the Shroud of Turin.
I wouldn't call it superior, but anyone who invests more time/energy/effort into a particular subject or area than another has, just most usually comes to have a little bit more knowledge in that area than they have, and that's just a fact, etc...So why don't we just accept your superior knowledge of the Bible, then?

Joe: The Shroud of Turin is a miracle!
Sci: I don't believe in miracles, so no it isn't -- case closed.
Joe: A shroud has been found in Turin with Jesus' silhouette imprinted on it.
Sci: Let's investigate it.
Okay. The problem with most of the miracle claims made here is that they are either unable to be investigated (for example happened in the distant past) or have been investigated and are found lacking. The "Shroud" is no different. The local bishop called it a fraud when it showed up in France 650 years ago. It's a reasonably decent medieval painting on linen and (despite the extended exhortations to the contrary on a different thread) it dates to that period.
The thing is I didn't find much to support all of those post-biblical "miracles" the church claimed even when I thought I was receiving the "true presence of Christ" at Communion each Sunday.
That is why I think we should be learning from one another, because everyone's knowledge is "different", etc...I wouldn't call it superior, but anyone who invests more time/energy/effort into a particular subject or area than another has, just most usually comes to have a little bit more knowledge in that area than they have, and that's just a fact, etc...
Because I'm betting that, in some areas at least, you have more knowledge than I, in some areas at least, etc, but just not in this one, etc, because I have put in all the hard work and/or great energy and effort and time and dedication into this particular area that you maybe have not, or whereas you have probably not as much, etc...
God Bless!
What's the miracle? That it really is the shroud of Jesus even though science (and some ecclesiastical authorities) says it probably isn't? If it really is the shroud of Jesus then it's not a miracle, it's a shroud.Makes me wonder why unbelievers don't just say that in the first place, rather than try and pwn someone's claim piecemeal style.

Personally, I don't believe the shroud is a miracle. What's the miracle?
