And your faith icon says "Anglican"

That's right. I belong to an Anglican church that is NOT a member of the Anglican Communion that you so carefully built your case around. And you did all that reading in Wikipedia, too. Now... that's real research!

About 2/3 of all the Anglican churches of the world belong to the Anglican Communion and about 1/3 or 20,000,000 Anglicans belong to other Anglican jurisdictions.

Which Anglican church do you belong to? Have you no connection historically to the Anglican church?

I'd be interested to find out how many different and un-related churches call thesemselves "Anglican". How biblical is this anyway?

And I'd be interested to know what churches you and Thekla belong to.

By the way what's that got to do with your flag? Are you saying that Americans can't be in the Anglican communion?

I'm Antiochian Orthodox. But by nature "Orthodox" churches as per the icon are in communion with each other

I note you've still not answered.

The best I can see is that you'd have a point on current leadership*, not on changes to dogma.

*-as per the monarch of the UK - not as per changing of leadership

I think the question is very straight-foward.

As far as I know ALL Anglican churches stem from the same break from Rome that happened with Henry VIII - then a change under his son Edward VI, then a change back towards Rome under Elizabeth I.

I also have no idea what the flag has to do with anything as, again, as far as I know Anglicans in communion with the CofE are in America

Are they? That would include the three different and competing Russian Orthodox churches in this country, I guess; the Old Believers who haven't talked to any of the rest of you for three hundred years; the "True Church of Greece" that denonces the Bishop of Athens. Some unity, huh? Not at all like those "divided" Protestants.

The best I can see is that you'd have a point on current leadership*, not on changes to dogma.
Then here's an idea. Read the part where I said that my church was quite orthodox. No women priests, etc. but hey, what's that matter to you? What you want is dirt, not the terribly deflating news that there isn't any!!

Don't let your memory fail you now. Don't you remember that you repeatedly insisted that I was/am not just an Anglican but a member of the Church of England? England..in the United States!

Yes. I note you've still not answered me. Both Thekla and I have answered you.

I'm more than happy to address your points:

The Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian Orthodox Church outside of Russia are in communion!

As far as I'm aware Old Believers on this forum don't use that icon.

Then here's an idea. Read the part where I said that my church was quite orthodox. No women priests, etc. but hey, what's that matter to you? What you want is dirt, not the terribly deflating news that there isn't any!!

So you're part of the "Quite Orthodox Anglican Church Exclusive to the United States of America"???

Yes, I accepted that would be your only point already

You're also confusing two points:

There are no CofE (people) in America with

There is no CofE (church) in America

So you're trying to save face by saying that there must be a few visiting Brits who are actually members of the CofE although they are now in the USA? Sure, if that helps you. Ozzy Osborne is one, as a matter of fact.
