Is being born again and recieving the Holy Spirit the same thing? Does the Holy Spirit live in a dirty vessel first? Isn't regerneration simply the quickening of our spirit?
Being born again is being born of the spirit. We repent and then recieve the holy spirit.
Does the bible say regeneration is quickening of our spirit?

The verse says "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
These people that he was talking to were not saved after they repented and were baptized they were saved.
You see they were not saved then regenerated then believed.
I have a question do calvinist believe God didn't know wether one believed or not before he saved them and did salvation come before faith?

I have no idea what was said here, if English isn't your first language, forgive me.

John 3:5 says born from above.
In acts it says repent and be baptized then you will receive The Holy Spirit, in the Old Testament not everyone had the Holy Spirit yet everyone was able to repent.
Matt 3:2 and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.” Here and many other places it says repent before the Holy Spirit was present.
I asked you a question what does justification before men mean. Also would you say one is saved, born again then believes in this order?

It says they recieved the Holy Spirit, last, but that does not mean they were saved last? They repent because they are convicted by the Holy Spirit to repent. They are baptized because thier sins are forgiven. They have been washed by the rengerneration of the Spirit.

Titus 3:5 (NIV)
he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,

We see here that salvation comes from being born again and being cleansed by the Spirit all at the same time. They are 2 sides of the same coin. Belief and repentance comes afterwards.

I have a question do Calvinists believe God didn't know whether one believed or not before he saved that person and did salvation come before faith?

We believe because God convicts us with his Spirit, and cleanes us. We would never believe otherwise.

If God did not chose me before I was born, thier is no reason he would chose me now.
