What does the God of the creation think about homosexuality? He is very clear on identifying the act of homosexuality as a sin. If an individual sows iniquity, they will reap corruption. Those of us that believe and know the Truth are not careful to say… “There is a pestilence in the land because of ‘homosexual’ activity.” There has been an increase in the acceptance of homosexuality in our country as indicated by the figures collected by the U.S. Census. The U.S. Census Bureau reported that, “The number of American households reporting same-sex partners skyrocketed over the past decade.” The Census counted 1,933 same-sex couple households last year in Vermont, up from an estimated 370 in 1990, a fivefold jump. Delaware had an even greater increase from an estimated 212 to 1,868 households, a nearly ninefold increase. Vermont and Delaware were the first states to receive the latest wave of data, with all 50 to get the material by late August. Four months before Vermont's civil union’s law took effect, the Census Bureau asked Americans questions designed to get the best picture yet of how many live with a partner of the same sex. Unmarried partner statistics in 1990 were based on a sample of responses; 2000 figures were based on a count of all households. Fewer than 5 percent of the country's unmarried partner households in 1990 were made up of same-sex couples. Comparable numbers for 2000 will not be known until all state figures are released.

As the statistics indicate there is a wave of acceptance of homosexuality in our country. Even though the masses may accept this let’s see what the Most High God thinks about this subject. We will take a look at the Law first. Once we have established homosexuality as being a sin, then we will look at the Lord’s wrath being poured out because of this abomination. Let’s go into Leviticus the 20th chapter and read the 13th verse.

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (Leviticus 20:13)

“….they shall surely be put to death..” Being that we are under the new covenant, which are the same laws that were given to Moses, no man is clean enough to put anyone to death, the Lord will take care of that Judgement.

He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses (Hebrews 10:28.)

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God (Hebrews 10:31).

For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. (Hebrews 10:26-27)

We must remember brothers and sisters Moses was on mount Horeb for forty days and forty nights. He received many more laws than the Ten Commandments. For example, there were more laws made between Moses and the Lord that were not classified as one of the ten. Take a look at Deuteronomy 29:1:
These are the words of the covenant, which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb. (Deuteronomy 29:1)

Notice what the scripture says, “beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb.” We see that other Laws were given to Moses alongside the covenant (Ten Commandments). An individual might say, “Those laws were for the tribes of Israel.” Well, let’s see if the Lords laws only apply to the sons and daughters of Jacob.

Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the LORD your God. (Leviticus 24:22)

One manner of law for Israel, as well as for the rest of the sons of Adam. Let’s back up to Leviticus the 18th chapter and start at the 22nd verse.

Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: (Leviticus 18:22-24)

Note what the scripture says, “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” Note something else in this set of scriptures. “Defile not yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you.” This statement should have a person shaking in their boots. When the Lord cast out the Canaanites, He sent the children of Israel into these countries to cast these nations out because of sin. The sons of Jacob did not go alone to do battle. His mighty angels went with them as long as they kept themselves from sin. This is not a game sisters and brothers;

the God of the creation is serious. When He returns at His second coming He will deal with man face to face. We must keep ourselves from willful sin. But, people try to make excuses for everything that is contrary to the word of God. As seen by modern medicine’s explanation of homosexuality:

“ With the birth of modern psychiatry, homosexuality came to be viewed widely as less a sin than a sickness. This attitude derived from unscientific research into the origin and nature of homosexuality, unscientific because based solely on studies of maladjusted psychiatric patients. Theories arising from such research suggested that disorders in family relationships, particularly mother-son relationships, give rise to homosexual behavior. Such theories, based on the assumption that homosexuals are necessarily psychologically abnormal, are not convincing. Quote from Grolier multimedia encyclopedia).
Why isn’t this thought convincing? Take a look at this verse in the book of James.

But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. (James 1:14-15)

Homosexuality is not an abnormality; it is a result of an individual’s own sexual desires. Once this takes place, what happens? Note what the verse says, “Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” This death is the second death, which is the Lake of Fire. Let’s take a look at some of Paul’s writings. Most people that call themselves Christians use the books of Paul to do away with the Lords commandments. These individuals have not gained their so-called knowledge through studying the Bible, they are on the “my pastor said factor” without trying to find out for themselves what “thus sayeth the Lord.” We will see in this next set of verses Paul mentions men of God that knew the scriptures, but failed to revere the ONLY REVEREND meaning REV. JESUS, the Lord gave them up because of unbelief and allowed them to commit vile acts such as lying with the same sex. Let’s take a look:

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. (Romans 1:18-21)

Note what the verse says, “Who hold the truth in unrighteousness.” Here we see these men knew the truth but “they glorified him not as God, neither were they thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart were darkened.” They professed themselves to be wise but became fools. Let’s skip down to the 24th verse.

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; (Romans 1:24-28)

Note what’s being said, “God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts to dishonor their own bodies between themselves. Even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature, men with men working that which is unseemly…”

God placed men and women on this earth to be fruitful and to multiply. This isn’t a genetic thing, which suits the taste of the general public. These individuals that call themselves homosexuals simply have unbridled sexual desire that came out of their own imaginations, they were not born that way. Therefore, we have a dreaded plague among us that’s not only devastating the gay community; it’s also spilling over into heterosexual assemblage as indicated by the AIDS crisis that has been mounting in the world.

Since the first AIDS cases were reported in 1981 through mid-1998, more than 665,000 AIDS cases and more than 400,000 deaths have been reported in the United States alone. This is only the tip of the iceberg of HIV infection. It is estimated that nearly 1 million Americans had been infected through the late 1990s but had not yet developed clinical symptoms. AIDS has spread around the world. In 1997 the United Nations announced that it had underestimated the spread of the disease and revised the worldwide estimate of people living with the virus from over 22 million in 1996 to over 30 million in 1997. More than 20 million of these people are in sub-Saharan Africa; 6 million are in Southeast Asia. The AIDS epidemic, which started in the 1980s, has devastated the gay community. (Quote from Grolier multimedia encyclopedia.)

The acceptance of homosexuality is also being spearheaded by today’s modern church.
“….Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever.”

Many leaders of today’s churches have “changed the truth of God into a lie” and have led their congregation in accepting homosexuality as an acceptable practice.

Those so-called men and women that announce themselves as ministers of God, and say this behavior has their approval, will have their day in the lake of fire. The occupation of a minister of God is to be a watchman that warns the masses of the wrath to come because of sin. One of the most prevalent lies told by these ministers of Satan is, “come to the Lord as you are.” The Bible is clear on how an individual comes to stand before the Most High God. In the book of Acts chapter two verse 38 states that we must repent, and be baptized every one of us in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. These so-call ministers skip over the word “repent” which simply means to make a change. We cannot come to the Lord as we are, we must clean our acts up first. We must understand brothers and sisters that there is no degree of sin in the eyes of the Lord. If we become practitioners of sin we will receive a just reward, which is the lake of fire. Note

what Paul says in I Timothy 1:8.
But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; (I Timothy 1:8)

How might we use the law lawfully? By keeping the law.

Note what Paul says next.

Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; (I Timothy 1:9-10)
Note what Paul says, “Knowing this that the law is not made for a righteous man.” Why, because a righteous man or woman are keeping the law. The law is for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons…” What will be the consequences for committing these acts of sin? Take note,

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15)
Those that are written in the Book of Life use the Law lawfully. Now that we have established that homosexuality is considered a sin, let’s take a look at the Lord’s wrath being poured out because of this abomination. Let us direct our attention to Genesis 18:17.

And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; (Genesis 18:17)

Why did the Lord stop to talk to Abraham? Make a special notation of the next few scriptures.

Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him. (Genesis 18:18-19)

The statement offered above gives us the explanation of why the Lord stopped to talk to Abraham. The reason is this, “that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgement; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.”
Brothers and sisters if we do justice and judge righteously the Lord will also reveal His secrets to us. If we keep the commandments then we will be able to do justice. Let’s continue:

And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. (Genesis 18:20-21)

Sisters and brothers, note what the verse says, “their sin is very grievous.” What is sin? Sin is the transgression of the law (I John 3:4). This indicates to us that the law was around long before the Prophet Moses came into the picture. Let’s continue:

And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD. And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes. And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes: Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it. And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty's sake. And he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak:

Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there. And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty's sake. And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake. And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place. (Genesis 18:22-33)

Abraham was pretty bold don’t you think? Let’s go right into the 19th chapter and see this grievous sin that was being committed.

And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground; And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night. And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat. But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: (Genesis 19:1-4)

Abraham could have asked the Lord if there was one righteous. Notice the verse states, “people from every quarter.” We see that there were none considered righteous and all were worthy of death.

And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him, And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof. (Genesis 19:5-8)

Lot offered his virgin daughters to these sodomites? That’s deep! Let’s see what happen next.

And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door. Genesis 19:10 But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door. And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door. (Genesis 19:9-11)

Note what the verse says, “they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.” They still made an attempt to break the door down to sodomize Lot and the two angels, after they were blinded.

This is an example of James 1:14, where it states, “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.”

By the way brothers and sisters, if an individual commits any sin continually, after they have been informed or have the knowledge that it is sin; the Lord may kill an individual with the first death, which Adam past onto us all. And after that He may wake up the same individual in the second resurrection and will have an angel throw them into the lake of fire. So, we see that the men of Sodom were involved in homosexual activity. Let’s see this death that was brought about by the Lord because of sin.

Let’s skip down to the 24th verse.

Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground. (Genesis 19:24-25)

The Lord destroyed all the inhabitants of the city and all the plain, nothing escaped but Lot and his two daughters. Why? Because of sin, which brings about death. Let’s take a look at a similar case in the book of Judges. Once again we will see several people losing their lives because of an attempt of sodomy or homosexuality. These attempts that were made let’s us know this act was accepted and a routine among these men. The bad thing about the scripture that we are about to read is that these were Israelites that should have known the law. Let’s take a look at the story of the Levite in Gibeah that belonged to Benjamin:

And it came to pass in those days, when there was no king in Israel, that there was a certain Levite sojourning on the side of mount Ephraim, who took to him a concubine out of Bethlehemjudah. And his concubine played the harlot against him, and went away from him unto her father's house to Bethlehemjudah, and was there four whole months. And her husband arose, and went after her, to speak friendly unto her, and to bring her again, having his servant with him, and a couple of asses: and she brought him into her father's house: and when the father of the damsel saw him, he rejoiced to meet him. (Judges 19:1-3)

At this point the father in-law asked the Levite to stay a few days with him, so he did. At the end of the fifth day the Levite, his damsel, and his servant packed up and began their journey home. After traveling for several hours the servant asked the Levite if they could stop and rest in the city of Jerusalem which was called Jebus at that time. The Jebusites were the inhabitants of the city at that time and were not of the stock of Israel, but rather they were sons of Ham through Canaan. The Levite told his servant that they will not stop in a city of strangers, but that they will continue on until they come to a city of Israel. Once the sun had set they turned into the city of Gibeah, which belonged to Benjamin. After arriving in the city they sat in the street. Then came along an old man who asked them where they were from and where were they headed. The Levite answered the gentlemen and the man then took them into his house and provided food and drinks for them and their beasts. While they were enjoying themselves there was a knock on the door and this is where we will resume in the scripture, at the 22nd verse:

Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him. And the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay, my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly; seeing that this man is come into mine house, do not this folly. Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing.

But the men would not hearken to him: so the man took his concubine, and brought her forth unto them; and they knew her, and abused her all the night until the morning: and when the day began to spring, they let her go. Then came the woman in the dawning of the day, and fell down at the door of the man's house where her lord was, till it was light. And her lord rose up in the morning, and opened the doors of the house, and went out to go his way: and, behold, the woman his concubine was fallen down at the door of the house, and her hands were upon the threshold. And he said unto her, Up, and let us be going. But none answered. Then the man took her up upon an ass, and the man rose up, and gat him unto his place. And when he was come into his house, he took a knife, and laid hold on his concubine, and divided her, together with her bones, into twelve pieces, and sent her into all the coasts of Israel. (Judges 19:22-29)

We see this account was similar to the sequence of events in the book of Genesis. But in this case, we see a female being raped, which is also a vile act that was and will be punishable by death even the lake of fire. Let’s see what takes place after the children of Israel received the token from the Levite.

Then all the children of Israel went out, and the congregation was gathered together as one man, from Dan even to Beersheba, with the land of Gilead, unto the LORD in Mizpeh. (Judges 20:1)
The children of Israel started out on the right track, by gathering themselves onto Lord. After they were gathered, the chief among them asked the Levite what had taken place in Gibeah. Let’s see what the Levite had to say:

And the Levite, the husband of the woman that was slain, answered and said, I came into Gibeah that belongeth to Benjamin, I and my concubine, to lodge. And the men of Gibeah rose against me, and beset the house round about upon me by night, and thought to have slain me: and my concubine have they forced, that she is dead. And I took my concubine, and cut her in pieces, and sent her throughout all the country of the inheritance of Israel: for they have committed lewdness and folly in Israel. (Judges 20:4-6)

He states that they were trying to kill him. He doesn’t mention the fact that he pushed his wife out the door to save himself. We are supposed to protect our wives, and if needs be lay down our lives for them, not run behind them. Let’s read the next verse,
Behold, ye are all children of Israel; give here your advice and counsel. (Judges 20:7)

They asked counsel of among themselves, instead of taking the matter directly to the Lord. So the children of Israel encamped against the city of Gibeah, and told the Benjamites to send the men out so they could put them to death. The Benjamites refused to hand them over. Now, note what happens next:

And the children of Israel arose, and went up to the house of God, and asked counsel of God, and said, Which of us shall go up first to the battle against the children of Benjamin? And the LORD said, Judah shall go up first. (Judges 20:18)

Note what the scripture says, “Which of us shall go up first to the battle against the children of Benjamin?” They should have said, “Lord, should we go out to war against our brothers?” We see that they have made their minds up, before consulting with the Lord. Let’s see what happens next.

And the children of Israel rose up in the morning, and encamped against Gibeah. And the men of Israel went out to battle against Benjamin; and the men of Israel put themselves in array to fight against them at Gibeah. And the children of Benjamin came forth out of Gibeah, and destroyed down to the ground of the Israelites that day twenty and two thousand men. (Judges 20:19-20)

Wait a minute! Benjamin destroyed twenty thousand men of Israel. The men of Benjamin are the ones that committed that lewd act. If the son of Benjamin had not sinned against the Lord, none of this would have taken place. Here in their first encounter twenty-thousand of the men of Israel had die. Let’s continue:

And the people the men of Israel encouraged themselves, and set their battle again in array in the place where they put themselves in array the first day. (And the children of Israel went up and wept before the LORD until even, and asked counsel of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up again to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother? And the LORD said, Go up against him.) (And the children of Israel went up and wept before the LORD until even, and asked counsel of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up again to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother? And the LORD said, Go up against him.) And the children of Israel came near against the children of Benjamin the second day. And Benjamin went forth against them out of Gibeah the second day, and destroyed down to the ground of the children of Israel again eighteen thousand men; all these drew the sword. (Judges 20:21-25)
In the second encounter Benjamin destroyed eighteen thousand men of Israel all because of the lust of a few men. So far a total of thirty-eight thousand men had die. Now, let’s take a look at the final battle between these brethren.

And Israel set liers in wait round about Gibeah. And the children of Israel went up against the children of Benjamin on the third day, and put themselves in array against Gibeah, as at other times. And the children of Benjamin went out against the people, and were drawn away from the city; and they began to smite of the people, and kill, as at other times, in the highways, of which one goeth up to the house of God, and the other to Gibeah in the field, about thirty men of Israel. And the children of Benjamin said, They are smitten down before us, as at the first. But the children of Israel said, Let us flee, and draw them from the city unto the highways. And all the men of Israel rose up out of their place, and put themselves in array at Baaltamar: and the liers in wait of Israel came forth out of their places, even out of the meadows of Gibeah.

And there came against Gibeah ten thousand chosen men out of all Israel, and the battle was sore: but they knew not that evil was near them. And the LORD smote Benjamin before Israel: and the children of Israel destroyed of the Benjamites that day twenty and five thousand and an hundred men: all these drew the sword. (Judges 20:29-35)

This third and final battle, twenty five thousand men of Benjamin died. That brings the total to 63,000 men being killed in battle. Why? Because of the “men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.”

What does this phrase indicate “that we may know him” or the act of “knowing”?

This phrase simply means to have sexual intercourse. Let’s take a look at a scripture to clarify this statement. Take note!
And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. (Genesis 4:1)

What happened after Adam “knew” his wife? She conceived, and bare Cain.

The accounts of Sodom and Gomorrah and the Levite’s experience with the Benjamin’s, let’s us know that the act of “knowing” someone of the same sex, or as otherwise known as homosexuality, is a sin that is punishable by death.

What does God think about allowing homosexuals/sodomites to dwell among His people? He is clear about Israel’s stand on this issue as evidenced by scriptures in the Bible.
In I Kings 14:21 the Lord identified sodomites that were co-habitating with the Israelites:

And Rehoboam the son of Solomon reigned in Judah. Rehoboam was forty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the LORD did choose out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. And his mother's name was Naamah an Ammonitess. And Judah did evil in the sight of the LORD, and they provoked him to jealousy with their sins which they had committed, above all that their fathers had done. For they also built them high places, and images, and groves, on every high hill, and under every green tree. And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel. (I Kings 14:21-24)

Note what the scripture says, “Judah did evil in the sight of the LORD, and they provoked him to jealousy with their sins which they had committed, above all that their fathers had done.” These men of Judah not only built temples to pagan gods, they allowed sodomites/homosexuals to dwell among them. Note what the Lord had Moses to write in regards to this:

There shall be no harlot of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel. (Deuteronomy 23:17)
Therefore Israelites (which are also considered Negroes, African Americans, blacks so on and so forth) that were removed from their land and brought to the northern hemisphere in the hulls of ships and who were sold into slavery do not have a chance! The Lord said, “There shall be no sodomite of the sons of Israel!” Take a look at the next verse and pay close attention what the Lord calls a sodomite/homosexual.

Thou shalt not bring the hire of a harlot, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God. (Deuteronomy 23:18)

Price of a dog? In the 17th verse it states, “There shall be no harlot of the daughters of Israel.” In the 18th verse it states, “Thou shalt not bring the hire of a harlot.” The 17th verse states, “nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.” Note the change in the 18th verse, “or the price of a dog.” The Lord provides a clear picture in his parallel comparison between the two verses of whom he compares sodomites and harlots with the likeness of. Think about that for a moment. Let’s return to I Kings and see how the Lord drops some drama into the house of Israel because of these abominations.

And it came to pass in the fifth year of king Rehoboam, that Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem: And he took away the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king's house; he even took away all: and he took away all the shields of gold which Solomon had made. And king Rehoboam made in their stead brazen shields, and committed them unto the hands of the chief of the guard, which kept the door of the king's house. And it was so, when the king went into the house of the LORD, that the guard bare them, and brought them back into the guard chamber. Now the rest of the acts of Rehoboam, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? (I Kings 14:25-29)

The Lord allows Shishak king of Egypt to take away the treasures of the house of the Lord because of sin.
The Lord did not allow it then and will not allow it at his coming. Check out who will be in the LAKE OF FIRE:
3And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things.
9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are DOGS, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. (Revelation 22: 3-15).

In conclusion, homosexual activity is and will remain a sin in the eyes of the Most High God because the Lord never changes.

It is stated in Malachi 3:6 “For I am the LORD, I change not.” Also in Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever.” In addition, James1:17 states, “The Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning”

So brothers and sisters no matter how men or women that are not of God try to make this abomination accepted in today’s society, it will not change in the eyes of the Lord. As long as an individual that participates in homosexual acts or any sin for that matter and then chooses to continue practicing the sin, the hope of receiving eternal life is null and void. You cannot come to the Lord as you are. But if a person repents and is baptized in the name of Jesus, his or her past sins will be forgiven. While a person is in their stage of repentance, they must learn the Word of God and what are the requirements of being His servants. That must take place before an individual should even think about being baptized. While there is still breath in an individual there is the possibility of repentance and avoiding the wrath of the Lamb.

Ookay, I'm skipping over a great deal here and not even really looking at most of the subject matter, but that last bit there about us not being able to come to the Lord as we are in sin seems to be incorrect to me. Don't all who come to repent in Christ go before him in sin as they are? We don't wash away our sins ourselves with some miracle soap then go to Jesus to repent if there's nothing there to repent as what you're saying seems to suggest. And even those who are saved will still sin. We are still bound to our flesh in this life and can still be taken by temptation. We should strive not to, very true, but it still happens. Even then if a person is weak and still sins, I'm still lead to think Christ would still have a hold on them if they tried to resist but still had trouble with it. I don't think our weakness can limit God's strength.

While I completely agree with everything you said, the way I read ozell's post in context (at least I think) is in agreement with what you're saying here Sound.

Here's a piece of it:

You cannot come to the Lord as you are. But if a person repents and is baptized in the name of Jesus, his or her past sins will be forgiven.

It looks like that's what ozell meant in context - more to say, you can't CONTINUE in homosexuality and be right with God becuz it's sin. There has to be repentance, and stopping it in obedience?

Ozell can clarify or not, it just seems that it might be in agreement with your statement?
or maybe it's too early & I haven't had enough coffee yet. heh :holy:

Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

2: God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

those that say they are saved will not sin willfully.

if you are saved how canyou sin? you are supposely saved.

that's another false teaching, another topic.

You sin all the time - just as God's people did in the OT and Paul claimed he was chief sinner after salvation.

Our advocate is Christ who we repent to - who has not only covered past sins, but present AND future sins if we are His.
The key is in salvation, not perfection. Perfection doesn't happen here in this fleshly body.

Paul explains this in Romans 7:
The Conflict of Two Natures

14For we know that the Law is spiritual, but I am of flesh, sold into bondage to sin.
15For what I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate.
16But if I do the very thing I do not want to do, I agree with the Law, confessing that the Law is good.
17So now, no longer am I the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me.
18For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not.
19For the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want.
20But if I am doing the very thing I do not want, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me.
21I find then the principle that evil is present in me, the one who wants to do good.
22For I joyfully concur with the law of God in the inner man,
23but I see a different law in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin which is in my members.
24Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death? 25Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh the law of sin.

We have 2 natures at war within us - we may be renewed inwardly by God, but we still have the sin nature raging inside that we work to suppress on a daily basis.

This is also found in Galations 5:
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.
18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

There are 2 natures at war within the Christian, and it's summed up in a quote by John MacArthur very well:

Sin in the believer is a burden which afflicts him
rather than a pleasure which delights him

okay im not sure if i understood you correctly but are you saying that not only is the practise of homosexuality a sin (which i agree with) but also being homosexual is a sin?? Im sorry but if you are that is rediculous and an insult to The Lord. He made everything and EVERYONE, therefore he made people homosexual as a test to their will and to call something which The Lord did an abomination is in itself a sin. I have an addictive personality and i have to try extremely hard to stay out of poker games, of drink and off cigarettes. This is my test of will just as homosexuality is some peoples test, if i called something that The Lord had made a part of me an abomination then that also would be an insult to him.

P.S, i apologise if that isnt what you were saying.

the apology should be when we claim God makes people gay or that God doesn't judge homosexuality for what it is, sin.

Romans 1:18-32 is clear that the act of sex is unnatural in and of itself - it's an "unnatural" exchange of the sexual usage of the male or female body to an unnatural one where they lust for the same sex.

It's one thing to struggle with it (as anyone else struggles with temptations they're weak or prone to), it's another to claim it's not sin and continue living in willful rebellion to God's created order & moral commands.
