Choice greetings everyone.

My name is steve and I am an alcoholic.I have 39 days sober today after coming out of an alcoholic and drug addiction treatment center.I have began going back to Church and attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and praying alot-reading my Bible and reading the Alcoholics Anonymous Book also other AA related material and Christian self help books.

My wife also has 37 days of sobriety.We have been married almost 20 years and will be July 27th 2008.We have been drinking that long together also.I have been an active drinker off and on for 27 years and will be 42 the 14th of November 2007.

I was told that if I chased my sobriety as hard as getting another drink I would be successful with God`s help and aided by the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Glad to have found this website and glad to be sober today.

39 days! this is so great! I am happy for you.

My name is Norm and I am one of the Recovery Mods here. I am a recovering alcoholic/addict - clean for 4 yrs and sober for 3. We have a lot of various threads, sections and links that you will want to peruse thru and check out.
