I completely disagree. But I am what you would call a Romantic, so naturally I would not agree.

There is nothing wrong with kissing. This is not an anti-kissing thread. Kissing, like anything else in life, can be a wonderful experience. Believe me, my very first kiss was, at the time, a wonderful experience.

The fact is, however, all of these "when was your first time" or "have you done this yet" questions create imaginary social statuses for us to fall into. My having kissed a girl didn't make me a better man, it didn't solve my life problems, and it certainly didn't improve my romance life. Kissing someone won't automatically lead to marriage and it won't even lead to a decent relationship or an improved love life. It is simply an experience, and - like all experiences - is secondary to the more important factors they are part of.

Again, we are not condemning the act, by the over-hype surrounding the act. There are so many people dwelling on things like "I haven't (had sex/kissed a person/hugged a lobster) yet" when they should be looking to other things. The greatest thing that happened to me was when Christ raised me from my death in sin, not when I first kissed a girl.

Exactly.

Like I said, yeah, its nice. But it's not the end of the world if you've never kissed somebody. There ARE far more important things to life than the physical aspects of a relationship.

Well some CF peeps never been in a relationship, kissed, had good friends, or other "stuff" it isn't a crime nor a death sentence that you never been kissed or any other situation

Haha! From my point of view? Nope, not at all ......... but then again, you are talking to a girl who's almost 21 and never even held hands with a bloke! In a romantic even puppy love way! So, obviously, no, I've never smacked someone on the lips with one! But believe me, life becomes difficult when discontentment sets in!!! What Eddie said in his last post (I think it was his last anyway) is totally true ....... not that I can speak from experience on the kissing side!

Yah it's strange, but that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you. I'm 26 and I've never so much as had a girl want to hold my hand, much less kiss me, but until I have someone convincingly point out something horribly wrong with me as the cause I'm not going to assume there is such a thing.

Abnormal? Yes. In a bad way? Not to me because I'm in the same boat. If I ran into an attractive Christian woman and we actually got together and I found out she hadn't kissed either, I'd be relieved. My inexperience would be less likely to count against me. It's discouraging when so many women demand "good kissers" and I never had a real opportunity to become practiced at it. It's a painful catch-22.

It doesn't seem to work that way here these days. All the graduates I know can't find a job anywhere, because the companies in the areas of their study want experience, not just a degree; and other places won't hire college grads because they are afraid of "overqualified" people. Apparently Lebanon is doing better than the US in terms of its labor market. Not surprising.

In my opinion it is not a bad thing. I find that attractive in a female. I have some weird thing with thinking someone else has kissed the person I am kissing. Weird especially since I have kissed more then a few people.
