CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's wonderful to have the Holy Spirit in our lives when we receive Jesus,as Saviour and tremendous to go on to be filled to overflowing with the blessed Holy Spirit and receive power to be witnesses for our Lord. How we thank God that this provision is for all who will call on Him!

Since getting saved and receiving His gifts, my life is GREAT, especially in times of trouble and problems.
For me, getting the Holy Spirit/Holy Ghost is like getting adopted by a wonderful parent. These days I am NEVER alone or without someone to talk with (not talk to) and His perpetual advice and favor have turned my life from one of wanting and fear into a desire to serve with courage.
But you can't get the Spirit by any other means than personal surrender to Jesus. It's hard for most people to "let go" and trust anyone else(even God) with there lives and futures, but it is well worth the trip.
So, just WHAT does it feel like? Warm, loving, strong, protective, educational... and so many more good things. Once you get "it" you'll never give it up, never be the same... a true rebirth.
