No, they don't want debate here. Please see the Theology rules wiki for guidelines.
Ok i dont mind that no debates here, but WHY we can post here now if we cant tell our opinion?
This is the very reason why only Creationists were allowed in this forum....creationism nonsense. ...
I can't make heads or tails out of it.No, they don't want debate here. Please see the Theology rules wiki for guidelines.
Thank you.I'll give it a shot.(Mel makes mental note to streamline the rules)
- Over all of the Theology forums, debate is limited to Nicene-compliant topics.
- Flaming/harassing/personal sniping is not allowed.
- The Creationism forum is for discussion of Creationism only, not for creationism vs. evolution debate
Thank you.
So does "creationism nonsense" from post number 1 break the
"Flaming/harassing/personal sniping is not allowed" rule?
Because that's just the kind of belittling I am sick and tired of.
I can imagine that I may have questions (not debates) that it would be nice to ask more eloquent Creationists.
May I ask if I have interpreted the new rules correctly?
I am married to a Creationist. He is not very good at explaining his faith to me, a secular Humanist, and I really don't have a good background in his faith. He does not "believe" in the theory of evolution, and couldn't really tell me why (It was just wrong).
I joined these forums in order to understand better, and after some 2 years of reading I have realized that his objection to the theory of evolution is because he, as a Creationist, believes that death did not occur before the Fall.
You all could have answered me in a second if I had posted here first.

Thanks
BTW, married 16 years, 3 great kids, questions about our origins are an infinitesimal part of our marriage, but I am of an inquiring mind.
You can't help yourself, can you? That word just slipped, sory if it insult. You are free create new thread in EvC forum to test which view is supported with evidence
The Creationist view is not only supported by the evidence, it is supported by the Word of God.
The evidence is the evidence.Great! Now please start thread in EvC forum so we can look at your evidence
The evidence is the evidence.
It's how it's understood and interpreted that is different.
I am not going to engage in a discussion with you.
Without faith it is impossible to please God.
