While we are on the subject of the pope. I would like to ask a question about him. I saw an article about a little boy getting past Vatican security and what got me about this article was that the pope was sitting on a throne in the picture. May I ask (without being personally attacked or accused of hating) why was the pope sitting on a throne? Since I am not a Catholic, I do not understand the reasoning for it. Please explain this to me. Thank you and God bless.
