i just want to know how so many grown men who don't even have a job since youre sitting around on the computer know what the bible says better than the pope. all you can answer with is a bunch of h8in. five pages of h8in and nobody can answer my question. thats all i needed to know.

Dear stranger.

I can infer from your words that you consider the age of fellow forum member a matter of no small importance. However, I would like to argue that age does not impede anybody from a solid understanding of God's Holy Writ. I would also be bold as to argue that the condition of being unemployed be it for retirement or due to pressing economic crisis does not hamper our relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church in anyway. Praying that you will never experience such situation, I intend to answer your opening post.

It is true that few people on Earth can surpass the Theological and Biblical knowledge of the Roman Bishop. I am certain that my skills in those fields are lower that even certain members of this respected board.

You may wonder at why I do not follow the teachings of the bishop of Rome. This is for a variety of reasons, but to focus on your specific question, I may answer that I know less about Science that many Atheists --or Theist for this matter--, I know less about Islam that the average Muslim, less about Judaism than the average Jewish believer, and definitively less about Christianity than most ministers of almost every Christian denomination. Yet, still, my conscience obliges me and the Holy Spirit allows me to discern which is His Gospel and through His Grace and in His Grace to live it.

In Christ,
Miguel

You know you're boderline flamming right? How do you know we don't have a job? And wouldnt that mean you don't either since you're sitting here responding?

And what does it matter regarding how much we know, it's not like you're going to say "Oh wow! I didn't see it like that".

Wanna know what we know, ask specifics.

Theres a lot of people here who think they know everything about the Bible. so i looked up the pope and found this and i want to know who knows as much as he does,

I left all the listed "credentials" out for the sake of keeping this post as short as possible.

That is quite an achievement in studies, all in catholic circles of catholic teaching.

There are men in every denomination that have just as extensive of an "education" in their denominational circles of their denominational teachings.

There are men that are not of a certain denomination that have just as extensive of an "education" in their circles. The exception here is that many of them have studied what others have learned and have kept what was scripture and tossed out what was not.

The latter I have learned are actually the most knowledgeable, anointed, spiritually powerful and are far more capable in the anointing from the Holy Spirit to reach the lost with the message of Jesus as well as to teach people how to live a Christian Life after they are saved.

The thing I have learned also is that there are men from catholic backgrounds that are doing this.

There are men from denominations including non denominations that are in this category.

However very few from catholic churches, very few from denominational churches and very few from non denominational churches are in that catagory.

The key it seems is the willingness in each of these men regardless if from a catholic background, a denominational background, a non denominational background.

The key is the willingness to not restrict the Holy Spirit to what one denomination or religious organization believes but to allow the Holy Spirit to direct with the motive of the individual being to meet the needs of people.

That is God's heart. God wants every person to be saved. Every person to be healed. Every person to learn how to have life and have it abundantly.

With all due respect to the Pope He does not have that willingness nor does Leaders of other Churches or religious orginazations.

Even though the members of each will argue that they do.

That is because each of us argue from the circle of what we know, see and feel, from what is "ours" and have no exposure to the powers for living that be in other circles.

This makes sense

You want to know what is so sad about all you shared about the pope? Nowhere in all that you shared was it mentioned where God taught him. All you shared about him is his head knowledge.

You shared how much he studied about God, from what man has taught about God.

Paul told us that one couldn’t come to know God unless God teaches him or her about God.

that is because i was trying to talk about how everyone else in all the threads say they KNOW what the bible says. in all these threads nobody says anything about what God teaches them. they say "this verse means this" and "this verse means that", and you never asked any of those people what God says to them so why are you asking me what God says to the pope? how do i know what God says to the pope?

all you guys do is be mean and be rude and insult the pope and Mary and everything. and the worst part is you are all saying you are Christians. what kind of Christian just runs his mouth being rude? you know what, i see nice people when i go to church but when i log in here all i see are BUTTS. i dont know a lot about all this stuff but i know 2 things, i am going to learn more because i know you guys are wrong, and i don't ever want to be like you guys, except for the few nice people who are here.

and is calling people "tools" and "butts" not rude? What's with all the name-calling? You're already like all the other "mean" people in here, you just refuse to acknowledge it. I am glad to hear though that you are in a pursuit of knowledge. Please share what you find. Thanks. [/sincerePost]

Dear, you may want to calm down a bit. Many individuals on here have already been down the "God/The Spirit has revealed to me" road. Thus it's a given. I don't recall you asking anyone what God has taught them so you can't get upset because it hasn't been stated.

And I don't know if people are trying to be rude so much as they are "passionately" defending what they believe to be true.

As the ole saying goes: quality will beat quantity every time :)

NKJV) Revelation 6:5 When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come and see."
So I looked, and behold!, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.

Strong's Number G2218 matches the Greek ζυγός (zygos), which occurs 6 times in 6 verses in the Greek concordance of the KJV
