So where is the White Rock?

When MiB and Sawyer entered the cave, there were two rocks on the scale, one white, one black.

But we've seen another block rock, the boat. And it's play a significant part, IMO, to warrent a balanced role for another white rock.

Could the island itself be the other white rock?

And in the flash sideways, he was on the plane. So he either never went to the island or he was able to leave.

Desmonds boat was captured by the Others but dropped out of sight immediately afterward - just not mentioned (maybe its still on a beach somewhere?)

Have y'all been watching Fringe... they have 2 worlds - and they have to be in balance - like if something was taken from one the other one would replace it. It's kinda like the black/white here - there is always balance. Or well, there should always be balance.
