Joe Biden says mass shootings rarely happen outside the US. What have other countries done that America hasn't?
ABC News -2 June 2022

Here's what some other countries have done in response to some of the most significant mass shootings outside the US over the last three decades:
  • New Zealand banned semi-automatic weapons straight away
  • Norway enacted a similar ban (but not as quickly)
  • It took Australia just days to act on a plan
  • The UK government ordered an inquiry (and accepted its recommendations)
  • Canada has just introduced legislation to limit handgun sales

So what’s the US doing?..........

fulfilling prophecy

Matthew 15:18-19 King James Version

18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

Revelation 13:11 KJV
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

What those countries have done first is to maintain societies that don't make people crazy. The US has created a social Darwinist society that is practically designed to create mental health problems, rage, addiction, suicides, and homicides.

The gun lobby says, "It's not the guns, it's the people," and they're right. US society manufactures a lot of defective people.

Because maniacs killing people care so much about regulations.

Right, we need regulations to deal with maniacs with guns, too. We need regulations to deal with this culture of death we have enabled. I'm glad to see you agree.

On a Christian forum you would think someone would recognize that this is a spiritual attack on young men. What did we do in the past to motivate young men to be good men, not dispicable cowards willing to kill children and die instead of say, getting a job and being a productive citizen?

What good do more regulations do? Last I checked it was illegal to shoot people already.

It's not illegal to have the hardware to shoot a lot of people in a short period of time. I swear we had this conversation last week.

20,000. One more?
Could it be that the multitude of regs actually do not address the problem but nibble around the edges of the matter, but don't actually do anything meaningful?

Could it also be that each State has it's own laws and if you have any trouble at all getting a gun you just go to the out of state gun flea market and get that DMR you so surely need?

It wasn't illegal 50 years ago either and we were not having a lot of mass shootings.

Yeah, well, we could handle the responsibility then, I guess. We are no longer capable of owning guns responsibly. Either we regulate responsibly or just take them all away.

Those countries have much smaller populations.

Or we could figure out where the sense of responsibility went and try to get it back. The problem of the loss of the sense of responsibility is not limited in its effects to mass shootings.

You are under the misapprehension that Americans value people over guns.

Of course we value children, to some extent. But they arent the most important thing at all.
