I really don't like either of them, but Obama is being pushed by his friends while McCain keep tossing his friends under the bus.

The ruling elite of the US needs an ambassador both able to heal international relations with other nations and the US and otherwise build bridges abroad, as well as someone able to restore confidence in the government internally.

That is, basically to restore something of the status quo ante before the Bush administration.

I agree with you, for one thing. This nation is made up with the quiet Americans who do not speak to the TV or news Station.
I am hoping that the lib's keep chocking the US with not drilling and there is a swelling of those quiet people and vote for Rep. May God have mercy on this country.

These quiet Americans are the ones who went to war to keep peace with out a whimper. If it were not for these quiet men and women we would be under Japans rule or German or Russian. If not, we will die.

He's been a lousy senator and I see no reason to believe that he'll be anything other than a lousy president.

From what I've heard him say, he wants to fasttrack our country's descent into socialism.

He loves to talk about raising taxes on people who've been successful, but when was the last time he talked about cutting spending?

His stance on abortion shows that he is not a man of good moral character and I don't believe that he'll be able to stand up to nations that threaten us or our interests.

There's no indication at all that he will go along with drilling in the Gulf and coal to oil doesn't seem to be on his radar at all. Neither does building any new refineries.

The most troubling thing about this guy is that even his supporters can't articulate his platform.

If you ask them who they are voting for they say Obama, and if you ask why they say because of the change he will bring. Then you ask them what he will change, and they say I don't know, so you ask what his polices are and they say they don't know. Does this not bother anyone?

I believe the Bible tells us we are to vote in Godly leaders, (will have to find those scriptues). Can anyone say with out a shadow of a doubt that he is a Godly leader?

I mean he is the one who doesn't see anything wrong with the oil prices, accept that it happened all at once. In other words he wanted it to happen?

He says he is a Christian, but says we aren't a Christian nation anymore, and sees nothing wrong with that. You ask me why I see something wrong with it, and I will tell you how we are told that the only way to God is through the Son. Knowing this and knowing how we are to preach the gospel to all nation,(that being the gospel of Christ), then shouldn't a Christian be about the Fathers business?

That "trance" you're noticing is the look that people get after they've heard a very good & moving speech delivered by somebody who really knows how.

Now, you may say that excelling in the art of oratory isn't necessarily an important skill for a chief executive, but I for one will be glad to be rid of the Beevis & Butthead oratorical style that we have been forced to put up with in the current President of the United States. Im afraid there is more truth to that then many of us want to think about. The true power force behind many a puppet are rarely ever seen or mentioned by journalists. And why is that so many of us seem to be asking as the country and the world fall into chaos, confusion and massive need.

Something that scares me about this man is that unbelievers are expressing so much concern and confusion about him. So those who arn't following Christian beliefs are questioning Obama...I truely am very concerned.

Quite honestly I think he is a wolf in sheep's clothing for several reasons:

1. He claims to be a christian. Fine. So do Mormons but that doesn't mean it is true. It all comes back to the fruit. There are loads of snippets from Obama on the net that shows his blatant disregard to scripture. He is alot more careful now, but before the Wright drama he was a lot more free to share his true beliefs.

2. Wright. I don't care what all the spin is, Wright was Obama's pastor for 20 years and their relationship is deep. There is a clear connection between all of them and Luis Faracon, as both wright and obama were major organizers and even speakers at the Million man march. Faracon is a known racist of cosmic proportions.

3. Both Obama and His wife, do share the "Rich white Man" syndrome. They are back pedaling alot now in order to win the election, however there is enough publicly to prove this is truth.

4. Obama's policy's are just plain ridiculous.
