We only know that the ones who were caught were mostly white surpremacists and other right-wing extremists. In fact, we don't have any evidence that any BLM members at all were doing any of that stuff.

Turns out, the white supremacists didn't have membership cards on them, either. But I'm curious why you think the police didn't bother arresting the people you claim were responsible, and just caught all the right-wing extremists.
Because they killed people. How many white supremacists were arrested for arson?

If only the looters and arsonists had been prosecuted with the same zeal
They were. You just don't like who it was that got caught doing that.

A masked, umbrella-wielding man accused of helping incite riots and looting in the aftermath of George Floyd's police-involved death has been identified as a member of a white supremacist group that aimed to stir racial tensions amid largely peaceful Black Lives Matter protests, according to police.

The 32-year-old, dubbed "Umbrella Man," was captured in a viral video back in May wearing a black hooded outfit and a black gas mask as he smashed store windows with a sledgehammer and encouraged people to steal, according to a search warrant affidavit filed in court this week.

His actions quickly led to the first of several arson fires that police say transformed peaceful protests into local danger zones, the affidavit said. He's also accused of spray painting the words "free s--- for everyone zone" on the doors of an AutoZone before he allegedly smashed in the windows. The store was broken into and set on fire shortly after, the affidavit said.

The reason there was not more bloodshed on Jan. 6 emerged through investigation into the Oath Keepers, a vigilante organization composed mostly of former military and police. During their trials for seditious conspiracy, members of the Oath Keepers testified about weapons caches in hotels and vans, stashed near Washington, D.C. As one member described it, “I had not seen that many weapons in one location since I was in the military.”

oh, unconfirmed testimony. You're setting a very high bar for evidence there.

I'm sure the FBI didn't offer various plea deals to people who said stupid stuff like that. Everyone knows the FBI has zero animosity against Trump or Trump supporters and would never do such a thing. ^_^

yea, everyone knows the first thing you do in an insurrection is trash offices and steal laptops and podiums.
A lot of people innocent dupes, who really didn't have any idea what the plan was. Some of them just took advantage of the disorder to steal and break things.

Some invading rioters defiled the hallowed seat of democracy with their dung in their ill-fated effort to overturn the election, a source close to incoming Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) told The Post
“Congressional staffers saw feces in the hallways,” the source said Friday.
The vile vandals apparently took dumps in bathrooms and then spread around their poop, a Schumer insider said.
“It came from the bathroom and they tracked it around,” the source said. “There was an intentional effort to degrade the Capitol building.”
Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) of Brooklyn also reported that some members of the mob urinated on the floors during the rampage.

On the other hand., paramilitary groups like Oath Keepers had a plan and knew exactly where they were going to get Pence and members of Congress, with the intent of stopping certification of the election. That was Trump's order to them as many of them freely admitted later. They were "just following orders."

Putting aside the question as to why a defendant would admit a crime that was not commited, that was not the only weapons cache assembled by the insurrectionists:

Lonnie Coffman of Alabama: Police found multiple firearms and weapons in Coffman’s possession. Coffman’s truck, which he had parked in the vicinity of the Capitol on the morning of Jan. 6, was packed with weaponry including a handgun, a rifle and a shotgun, each loaded, according to court documents. In addition, the truck held hundreds of rounds of ammunition, several large-capacity ammunition feeding devices, a crossbow with bolts, machetes, camouflage smoke devices, a stun gun and 11 Molotov cocktails.

Court records and video surveillance footage show that Coffman, who had ties to militia groups, parked the vehicle near the Capitol at 9:15 a.m. that day. The documents say that after he got out of his pickup truck at 9:20 a.m., he joined a crowd of people who walked directly to the Capitol building.

He was detained later that evening as an unnamed woman was driving him back toward his truck. Police questioned Coffman and searched him, finding two more handguns on his person. None of the weapons were registered, documents state.

AP finds most arrested in protests aren’t leftist radicals

John Malcolm Bareswill, angry that a local Black church held a prayer vigil for George Floyd, called the church and threatened to burn it to the ground, using racial slurs in a phone call overheard by children, prosecutors said. Bareswill, 63, of Virginia Beach, faces 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to making a telephonic threat.

Two Missouri militia members who authorities say traveled to Kenosha, Wisconsin, to see Trump’s visit in the wake of the police shooting of Jacob Blake were arrested at a hotel in September with a cache of guns, according to court documents. An attorney for one of the men, Michael Karmo, said he is “charged criminally for conduct that many Americans would consider patriotic,” as authorities have alleged his motive was to assist overwhelmed law enforcement.

Three of the men arrested are far-right extremists, members of the “Boogaloo” movement plotting to overthrow the government and had been stockpiling military-grade weapons and hunting around for the right public event to unleash violence for weeks before Floyd’s death, according to court documents.

After aborting a mission related to reopening businesses in Nevada as the coronavirus pandemic raged, they settled on a Floyd-related protest led by Black Lives Matter. Angry it had not turned violent, they brought carloads of explosives, military-grade weapons, to a meet-up about 2 miles (3.2 kilometers) from the protest site and pumped gasoline into tanks. FBI agents arrested them before they could act, according to a criminal complaint.

FBI Director Christopher Wray recently told a congressional panel that extremists driven by white supremacist or anti-government ideologies have been responsible for most deadly attacks in the U.S. over the past few years. He said that antifa is more of an ideology or a movement than an organization, though the FBI has terrorism investigations of “violent anarchist extremists, any number of whom self identify with the antifa movement.”

He had two handguns on him, participated in the insurrection, almost made it back to his vehicle and never fired a shot?

Five more than BLM. And that's the point, isn't it?

So who was burning and looting?
According to a search warrant filed earlier this week, the man is associated with the “Aryan Cowboys,” which the Anti-Defamation League lists as a White supremacist prison and street gang.
...
Video of the “Umbrella Man” went viral after protesters in Minneapolis confronted and filmed him on May 27 while he was in the act of smashing several windows of an AutoZone store.

An arson investigator wrote in a search warrant affidavit that the man also spray painted the words “free ------ for everyone zone” on the doors of the AutoZone. Not long after he smashed in the windows, looting began, and a bit later the AutoZone was set on fire, the affidavit said.

“This was the first fire that set off a string of fires and looting throughout the precinct and the rest of the city,” Sgt. Erika Christensen, a Minneapolis police arson investigator, wrote in the affidavit, which was filed in court on Monday.

“Until the actions of the person your affiant has been calling ‘Umbrella Man,’ the protests had been relatively peaceful. The actions of this person created an atmosphere of hostility and tension. Your affiant believes that this individual’s sole aim was to incite violence.”

Texas man in 'boogaloo' movement pleads guilty to firing at police station during Floyd protest

Ivan Harrison Hunter, a self-proclaimed member of the “boogaloo bois,” is accused of firing 13 rounds from a semi-automatic assault-style rifle at a Minneapolis station.

This is your imagination because that didn't even happen at all. A lot of that mob were probably gun-owners, and yet they were unarmed (and far less violent than any BLM riot)

The insurrection narrative is, quite simply, all in your head. This is not gaslighting. You were already gaslit when you believed a bunch of people climbing on railings and calmly walking around taking selfies were launching the coup of the century.

It's actually quite remarkable how openly false the J6 insurrection narrative is, and yet how willingly many believe it.

Two Grand Juries didn't think it was in my head. Jack Smith's 165 page court brief is certainly not in my head.
I pray this man is held to account for the crimes he has committed against against the people of these United States.

The same one you mentioned earlier who didn't actually start a fire and a guy who shot at police station. That's 6.

So What?

"At 2:24 pm, Trump was alone in his dining room when he issued a Tweet attacking Pence and fueling the ongoing riot:

“Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certifya corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!”*®

That aftemoon, at the Capitol, a rioter used a bullhom to read the defendant's Tweet about the Vice President aloud tothe crowd trying to gain entry to the building. The defendant issued the incendiary Tweet about Pence despite knowing—as he would later admit in an interview in 2023—that his supporters “listen to [him] like no one else.

One minute later, at 2:25 p.m., the Secret Service was forced to evacuate Pence to a secure location.* At the Capitol, throughout the aftemoon, membersofthe crowd chanted, “Hang Mike Pence!”4; “Where is Pence? Bring him out!™*”; and “Traitor Pence!™***

Other than the white supremacist who killed a police officer, trying to make it look as though BLM did it, the white supremacist who broke shop windows and left graffiti inciting looting... etc.

That’s bad that a police officer was killed but white supremacists were responsible for a tiny fraction of the damage, it hardly fits the narrative that you’ve been describing

Yes, the insurrectionist riot in the Capitol was ended by a single person tweeting, “Go home”. He could have done this at any time but waited until it was clear that it wasn’t going to work.
And you know this how?
The police did not let rioting happen; they did put a stop to each riot - which were not necessarily the same people who were protesting earlier in the day.
No they didn't. I watched as rioters attacked the police who basically stood there and took it. Rioters who tried to burn police alive. Yeah not buying it.
There was one riot in DC for a degree hours. We had at least 7-10% of the riots around the country for months.
Qe had no one actually killed in DC except a rioter, we did have a few injuries. There were over 2000 i juries of officers in the BLM riots, at least 20 killings and billions of dollars in damage. And you are really scared of a feq hours of upset citizens and a president who didnt tweet quick enough for you?
How many, fot how long?
How long was the area in Seattle held again?
