Well, I've never shared my opinions on this subject previously, but yes, they have remained somewhat the same. My opposition to the movement has actually strengthened with the recent anti-cop rhetoric.
All of the recent killings in the news.
This is especially true with the all lives matter faction.I am even more astonished now at how truth, facts are ignored in service of a narrative. Orwellian-level manipulation of truth.

Generality noted. Now how about looking at dash cam video, audio, forensics, blood tests......ya know, FACTS?
An event occurs that some say support a narrative; when FACTS are presented that may discount the narrative concerning said event, FACTS are waved away. We've seen this before, again, and again, and yes, again.
Again, look at the large number of white folks that get off without being cuffed and stuffed at a traffic stop.
Look at how Hillary got away with crimes that no military person could ever get away with just because of her status as a rich white woman.
White folks have been creating a false narrative for over 250 years in North America...that's just the facts.

Or how about the broad level of corruption at the Oakland Police Department. Then the disparity in drug arrests for marijuana despite similar usage levels across racial groups. You can't hold up a specific incident as an example of a larger narrative and then dismiss the FACTS of that incident when it doesn't support said narrative. Why is this so hard to understand??
You have to be specific: every case is different, and I'm not going to fall into the trap of thinking that every Black man dead is dead because cops are racist, because that in and of itself is a racist narrative. If we are talking about BLM, then no, I've never and will never support a movement that justifies breaking the law with the idea that they are victims of a racist system that doesn't exist. Their message is "Black Lives Matter," but I've not heard anyone say that they don't matter, so they are in a sense fighting a demon that they themselves are creating; they get mad when people say "All Lives Matter" because it shows they are battling an enemy that doesn't exist. I've heard many say that Black on Black crime, gang culture, and the presence of drugs in Black communities is because of White people; if that isn't being a racist and playing the victim then I don't know what is.
Again, the mirror shines right back at your own narrative as you seek to avoid changing behavior in our society.Sweet mother of.......

Why is there such a struggle with this? There were two shootings involving police and black men. Riots and a terrorist attack occurred in the wake. People in the media and on social media pointed to the two police events as proof of the narrative of racist cops kill black people, even before all the FACTS are in. If you want to talk about disparities in policing, don't use events of which we have limited knowledge to further that narrative.
What is the difficulty here? Is truth racist?
White on white crime is a big problem in this country.
4. White people kill more members of vulnerable populations than any other race
Vulnerable populations are generally defined as children and the elderly. Family members and significant others are also often targets of homicide, rather than random victims. FBI homicide statistics from 1980 to 2008 show that white people are, by the numbers, far more likely to kill children and the elderly than any other race. Additionally, white people commit more sex-related and gang-related homicides than any other race.
My views have not changed. Guns still require someone to act on them. I can have ten firearms around my house, but unless I pick one up and fire it they will not do anything. As for police, I believe that we should judge each officer shooting on the facts and not just assume that because the person was a certain race that the shooting must be racism.
