As a nerd I play games. From peaceful games like Peggle, to games like Doom 3 and Halo Reach.
But should we really play games? For starters if you game then most likely you to some degree obsess about them which makes you turn your game into a idol.
Next what about the content? I'd think even the "friendliest" game is against god in terms of what we should be doing.
With all this it seems we still play games anyways. I don't use the excuse "Its just pixels!". But I do believe some games are art, others are like stories to pull you away from reality. And in the end I know playing games is probably not what god wanted.
Which also brings up the question....will we have video games in Heaven? Cause I really want to play them!
