So much to Learn

sometimes I wonder why God called me into full-time ministry. I am learning to be flexible, not get stressed, and especially working with 20 women, how to know when to give discipline (like demerits), or grace in a situation that will help them grow. But Moses had a stuttering problem, Rahab was a prostitute, and David was just a boy when he became king. Since that is the case, God can use me too.

I love everything about my ministry. But Father, please give me more spiritual discernment. I feel so young and inexperienced. so very inadaquate at times. So many look at me as their example, but I just need to keep my eyes focused on You. Please teach me what I need to know. Please show me what to do Lord. I am so very thirsty for You. In Jesus Name, Amen.

I was wondering what missionaries do for fun? My time is very limited.

I am an intern for a 13 month faith based discipleship program for women who struggle with life-controlling issues. I guide them through their day basically, making sure they are following the rules and encourage them in prayer and God's Word. I counsel them, work with them, cook for them. I am the music director and praise and worship leader. I teach the choir their songs, and the praise team their music. After my psnc I will be teaching them a class which will be soon. after my Biblical counseling, will be able to be an advisor. But I have to advise them on a daily basis anyway. Fridays and Saturdays we go fundraising. Today it will be very cold, so I will really have to encourage them today as we go out today. Tomorrow, I take a choir out to a church, and then we have church at night. Basically, I am teaching them how to turn to God instead of to life-controlling issues.

I graduated in October and decided this is where God has called me. (well, God called me anyway. )

That is a great grounding you are having! A great equipping. You are going to have very productive ministry.
