I want to praise God for His blessings for He is good. I also want to praise Him because praise is better than bitterness, and it is good to think about things that are noble, right, true, excellent and praiseworthy.
Well, I'm thankful I got to spend time today on a project at work. I had to drop it for awhile due to other urgent needs, but today I got to return to it and move it along. I even trained another co-worker on how to do it, so she was pleased by that, and I was pleased as well.
I'm glad I put in a full day's work, even though I preferred to leave early like other people. But I work as for the Lord, and I'm sure He was pleased that I was there a full 8 hours. More importantly, He helped me not to feel bitter that I was just about the last person there at work on a Friday.
I'm thankful I got to talk with my dad tonight. He usually watches TV when I visit, but tonight we had a one-on-one chat for a few minutes. That was nice.
I was blessed to receive a mail-order item that I'm going to give to a friend. It looks very nice. I'm blessed to have the money to buy gifts.
Praise God for the chance to sleep in tomorrow morning. That will be really nice.
