Glorious Tragedy
Suppose it just depends on the person and their preferences.
I've been enjoying the new interface. For me, it's quicker than using the start menu to navigate through my programs which is a bonus. Everything is easily accessible and where I want it to be. For a time I did consider installing Start8 for Windows® 8 - Bringing back the Windows Start menu but I didn't see the point after I got use to using Metro.
I'm still not sold on switching my phone over to a Win 8 phone because of the amount of apps I have with Android and that many of them are still not available via Windows store, but I will be getting a Surface Pro.
For me, the benefit of Windows 8 is all under the hood. Pretty much everything runs better on 8 than it did on previous versions. Better memory management, boots in no time at all, the task manager got a massive needed update, stability improvements... The list goes on and on.
