Not very often... ahhh I have nice memories of skipping through the forest... :)

:) As for skipping class I only skip class if I'm really sick, or if I don't like the class and am only a little bit sick, or if it's a class that I don't like and I just don't want to go. (It's an hour drive one way, to half of my classes). Or if I have the class with a friend and we just decide we would rather not go to class, and hang out instead. (That doesn't happen too often lately since all my friends have different classes now. And are never on campus the same time as me.)

Rarely... I have to be pretty sick to not go. There was one time I skipped one class cuz I had so much to get done, and it was a sanity thing, lol. And another time I skipped cuz I was so tired. I'm an insomniac many nights, so i was just to tired at that point to go, so i didn't. That teacher posts all his notes anyway

My semester is just about over- I have finals next week!

Yes, I skip. I have chem lecture every day and on tuesdays and thursdays its my only class. It is a 25 minute drive to campus and on those days I don't always feel like driving so I skip. I was doing okay, but I know it effected my last test. My grade had been a barely A, but after this last test, I bet I've dragged it down to a solid B. I need to study like crazy to get an A on the final and hopefully, with a good lab score, that might get me an A overall.

In all truth, it depends on the class. I only have one 8am, but it's HORRID...we don't learn anything, we just sit there through awkward, forced conversation. I skip that one quite a bit more than I should. But I never miss anything, so it's really no incentive to keep going...

Other courses, like my 1x a week 3hr. lecture, I NEVER skip. We cover too much material, and I'd die if I skipped. I'd swim to that class if I had to.

For any class other than that, I try to save my skips for when I'm sick.

I skipped a lot freshman year, especially last spring quarter, when I was going through a lot of bad times emotionally.

This year I can't afford to miss my classes...I'm in o chem, physics, and calc, and if I miss a class I get behind. So I haven't skipped at all this quarter.

I try not to skip any classes without a good reason (being sick). In my program, you really can't afford to miss a class. I'm a paramedic student BTW. So far, I haven't missed a class the entire time I've been in the program.

yeah... I think most people skip a class or two (minimum) at some point. I know a bunch of people who didn't every skip at first, but by the time you're in second or third year, things come up. Or you just want a day off every once in a while. It's normal.
