So embarassed

So I went out to eat today with my grandma, great-grandma, cousin, and sister. I was eating chicken and rice and felt the need to bolt to the bathroom. I ran into the bathroom, puked up my toenails and realized in the process that I managed to pee all over myself. I was so embarassed!!! I was wearing light grey drawstring sweats so it was VERY obvious. I had to go straight out to the car and drive myself home in my leather seats with a soaking wet butt, didn't pass go, didn't get dessert. I just sat in my car and cried and cried and cried...and cried!!! lol...DH wanted to rush home and take me to the hospital because he thought it was food poisoning, but I don't think so because aside from the embarassment, I am fine now. So I guess I really don't have a question or anything, I just wanted to let everyone know how utterly HUMILIATED I was today and how I am never going out in public again as long as I am pregnant!

don't worry..it happens to the best of us. when i was pregnant i was at work, i used to work at a private school with a classroom filled with toddlers! anyway one morning already 9 months preggie, i was standing in the classroom, and had to sneeze, and it happened i peed.to make thins worse i was wearing a dress that day, and it just went all over the class room floor. all of my little students..were asking why mrs.josie peed on the floor, and that i should go to the potty! i also cried and had to leave to change.

Sorry to hear that. Pregnancy can just be so much fun - I think it is just a way to prepare for the embarrassing moments our children will give us once they are here - believe me I have had plenty already!

yeah, lol, i told my mom about it...and she CRACKED UP!!! so, what with not being over-emotionally pregnant and all, i cried again!!!! lol...sheesh!!! mommy, I am 21.5 weeks along. LOL so i figure if its this bad now, it can only get better (or WORSE!!!!). Thanks for the hugs and encouragement ladies! I love you all!!!

well it threw me off to begin with because i haven't thrown up in over a month, so I totally wasn't expecting it. But i was SOOO hungry, I think I ate waaay too fast. Also, chicken and rice is my all time FAVORITE meal...but its also the one thing that triggers my upchuck reflex faster than anything else! stupid of me, huh? lol....hmmmm

awww..im sorry...i peed on myself when i was pregnant too, but i was at home, i used to "leak" when i was out in public, but always managed to make it to the bathroom..i was the fasted moving pregnant woman you've ever seen!

but really it's ok, im sure no one thought twice about it! you're pregnant!

That happens to pregnant women all the time so don't feel alone!

I'm 9 months and it's been starting to happen to me. I'll sometimes leak and feel like I have to go to the bathroom ALL the time! A few times I wasn't sure if my water broke..

This happened to me too, but fortunately I was at home when it happened. I did manage to puke all over the living room floor (seconds after telling my husband I'm OK, I won't throw up, in response to his suggestion that I should go to the bathroom as I was looking white...) and my pants were also soaked when I was done! It felt absolutely terrible and at least there was nobody to see other than my husband.

(and he was too busy cleaning up the living room floor, poor guy)

I have also learnt to do my kegels whenever I feel a sneeze coming on, and I'm wearing pantyliners all the time just to play it safe!

pantyliners!!! what a great idea!!!! i was sick all weekend and my poor hubby washed the bathroom rug about four times cause every time i threw up, i peed all over myself. turns out though, that our muscles in "that area" stretch the most and tend to be the weakest between 19-24 weeks and that is (aside from the end of the pregnancy) when we tend to wet ourselves the most!!!
