  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So, did anyone watch that other show?

Don't get too attached, Thinker. I hear the show is being pulled a month earlier than planned and the time slot will be filled by news programs like Primetime and 20/20. I guess because filling it with a show WE ALL REALLY WANT TO WATCH would be out of the question.....

Really! It wasn't the reruns that were the problem. It was the lack of consistant new shows.

Oh, I'm not attached to it. The way its progressing, they could probably drop three or four episodes and still have it make a coherent whole.

I do miss Lost.

Well, tonights episode had a major revelation - then went and `moved the goalposts' as it were. Detective Harper finally got a couple of really major pieces to slide into place in an old murder mystery that seems central to what is going on; managed to ID the chief bad guy (and visit him at his home address) only to be told flat out that bad guy answered to other powerful people of even nastier dispositions. There was also a hint of a `street superstition' or paranormal element introduced.

It has the feel of something that could be wrapped up in one or two more episodes.
