Wow. I really don't know how much more misery my kids can take. I am truly worried for their mental health. Truly. You may remember me mentioning several times that their dad, my ex-husband, died in a motorcycle accident in May. My oldest son had taken on the job of executor. The funeral home is waiting for their fees to be paid, his dad left back taxes owed, utilities, and several other things, plus expenses my son has incurred from going back and forth from California where he lives, to Missouri where this is all taking place. So the kids have been waiting and waiting and waiting for the bulk of the money their dad had to be released, in a retirement account at his last place of employment, to the tune of $62K. Four of my six kids are practically destitute, left with no health insurance as a result of their dad's death, among other things.

So today my son finally finds out that his dad FORGOT TO CHANGE THE BENEFICIARY on that account. He was married for a short time after me for a year and a half or so to a most miserable, horrible woman. She really took him to the cleaners, ran him through the wringer like you would not believe. He never would have wanted her to have that money. AND those expenses I mentioned that need to be paid cannot come out of this money! So my son is supposed to figure out how to pay all these things! His dad's back taxes, utilities owed, etc. I swear if I could, I would bring him back to life and murder him myself. What an idiot!! My kids are suffering SO BADLY and for them to have to swallow this.....it's more than they can bear.
I am begging any of you who are praying people to please, please, please pray for my six children this weekend. Please pray for their peace and sanity and SAFETY. Pray they will not indulge in any self-destructive behavior. And Pray that the lawyer can find some statute to get around this miserable mess.

You must have pushed the wrong buttons by mistake. Anyway: I will of course pray about your family's financial situation. The hits just keep on coming--but Jesus warns that that will happen. So I will pray that influence is wielded according to the will of Heaven, that righteousness is established over this situation in your family. Remember that all our prayers thanks to God have been received about your family and have brought aid and comfort. I will pray that the evil greed of the woman trying to prevent having your ex husband's affairs settled will not be permitted to get away with what she is doing, and that there will be peace in your family. Remember that: prayers are answered. These will be as well, that your family will have peace regarding this matter.

Thank you, Servant. McS: thank you for your prayers this weekend and your words. The thing is it's been hard enough (and "hard" is not the right word) for them to get through their dad's death. And then it was HORRIBLE for them when the woman who killed him got away scot-free. If you were to mention her name to them, to the girls anyway, they get hysterical. IT'S JUST TOO MUCH. And now this? Why? Lord, why are these things happening to my kids?? Please, I pray that somehow this can be overturned or that woman will have compassion somehow.....I don't see that one happening, she truly is a miserable person. She most likely will laugh her butt off when she finds this info out, laugh all the way to the bank.
