SNOW!!!

Hey all,
It snowed today in Texas! I woke up this morning and there was a blanket of snow on the ground! THe flakes are still falling! What a beautiful way to celebrate Valentine's Day!!

Congrats - so that's where our snow went! Hope you enjoy it! Now all you need is a good fire in the fireplace, a warm drink, and a good book, plus a few marshamallows to roast (that was me yesterday). How far south in Texas would that be? :^)

Hehe...thanks! We are so excited cuz in winter here it just gets really cold and hardly ever snows. It's much more fun for it to be cold if there's snow! I am in North Texas closer to Ft. Worth. I don't have a fireplace here, but I will probably make hot cocoa and read some today Happy Valentine's!

<smile> That sounds like a call to enjoy my fireplace. Also a call to hot chocolate - how dark should the hot chocolate be? However, I may have to punt with regard to reading material.

It was so nice out today (bout 25-30 degrees F) I was cruisin the truck with the windows down and the stereo up! I cant wait for spring so I can roll out in both trucks

That is really sad! If you have seen pictures of snow, they really don't do it justice. It sparkles like crazy in the sun, so that it is almost blinding. A fresh snowfall muffles the sounds of the world so that everything sounds and feels quiet and peaceful. It makes the world look clean and pure again, at least for a little while.

Not to mention that it is immensely fun to play with!

lol I second that!
I usually like snow, but this year, I'm totally sick of it. it doesn't help that now it's at the yucky gray-ish stage and it's not pretty anymore.

p.s. hayleyvictoria, I heard it's supposed to get up to +2C on Friday!
