Snow ....

So , who's had all the snow ? we had some last week ... more may follow . 33000 people stranded in France after the Chunnel got bunged up with 5 trains broken down by weather , 2000 were stuck in the trains in the tunnel after the trains went from extreme cold to warm temperatures in the tunnel , traffic mostly Truckers stacking up to get back to Europe.

I see the USA has had lots of snow , anyone seen any ?

We got 20" over Friday night and Saturday. Really 'digging' it.

Been very fortunate here in Central Indiana, only very light snow with accumulations around an inch.

A couple of inches round our way in north Glasgow, the main roads are ok but some of the less used ones are a bit treacherous.

Yep, we've got 18 inches at the bottom of a hill to the only exit roads. Great sledding! It's turned to ice, and supports steel runners. Wahoo!

'Course, there is that car-stranded part of it. But I can walk to grocery.

So the chunnel trains ... broke down or was an exit clogged or ? We got reports of it, but the news is so human-interest related they didn't describe the actual cause of the stops other than "trains stopped in the tunnel".

Well brother, this part of the Presbytery (Western Pennsylvania south of the I-80 snow belt) has only about an inch of snow down. It is just about at 32 degrees today, it's melting away...for now.

i really wouldn't want to drive to Carlisle for a Presbytery meeting this week.

Hi bro , the trains were said to have broken down because of a big shift in temperature coming from freezing France back into the "warm" Chunnel .... it's still being investigated .

I am sat on a bay in Bury St Edmunds delivering lager by tank , for kegging , it's snowing now , I don't think it will settle it looks too wet .

thanks for the snaps Fijian , I think you will be getting more snow , Birmingham got it last night and it was moving North . we still have some snow but much of it is melted .....
