In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Just wondering if anyone here has been running any emulators on the PS3.

I'm planning to get this going sometime this month when I have time. I've got about 380GB of hard drive space available for my PS3 and I'm planning on running Gentoo Linux on it. Has anyone else got into this?


I'm definitely happy with my PS3! I think I like it more than my modded X-Box now (which I finally converted from 220V to 110V... no more power converters!). I kind of enjoy tinkering around with this type of stuff.

I have an SNES console at my parents home. I don't even live in the same country. Plus, it's nice to only have a couple consoles hooked up to the TV, instead of two powerbars worth.

These are the same reasons why the Wii has its virtual console. The only two consoles hooked to my TV are my PS3 and Wii. I don't want anymore.
