Isn't knowing the difference between_good and evil_a part of the holy spirit? If not the basis?
Ok. The serpent opens your eyes through breathing in the holy spirit and you say that the snake is evil?
It doesn't make sense to me, in the way that somehow the snake is evil and cursed. Afterall, without the difference of knowing good and evil you would not know the holy spirit, right?
And it doesn't make sense to me that God would plant a tree, tell Adam about it and intend Adam not to use it; even though mans' curiosity would lead to a taste of forbidden fruit.
So God goes around planting trees, telling people about them; and expects man will not disobey--the dumbest command in the world. A command, if disobeyed, would lead man on the path to the holy spirit.
Isn't the snake the hero of the stupid tale of Genesis?
Afterall, the snake, breathed or placed a seed, within man, all of which would lead man into the hands of God (I don't mean your God of supersticion; but the true God who is a being of reason and logic.
