  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes, he is. I really like the actors on this show. We've talked about some of the problems with the show already. For me, the problems aren't big enough for me to dislike it. In fact, I have been pretty addicted to it lately.

I like the series myself. Course, knowing who he is going to end up would normally ruin a precursor such as this, but what makes it interesting is him going through the same things as most teenagers. Worse for him though because he has to willingly subject himself to the humiliation that others bring to him, and despite how he might feel about something or someone, he knows that he is not free to act on those feelings. The restraint and humility is awesome. Imagine having all the power that he has or even more.. say the power to create or destroy with a word, and using restraint, even to the point of death. Hmm.. sound familiar?

Course this is a fictional character and set up. When Clark gets the ring with Red Kryptonite in it, we see what he would do if he did not restrain.

Excellent show, great writers and great actors all around.

I've just finished season one and I'm currently working on season two. I'm asking for three and four for Christmas.

As for the problems...Kryptonite is EVERYWHERE!!! Why hasn't it killed Clark yet? Not a big enough problem, though, to keep me from watching it.

Agreed. I am looking forward to Smallville starting back up. I have about 1 week to go and I can finish watching Season 2 and then Season 3 will start up!

I want season five to get over with so they can get it out on DVD. BTW season's one and two are less than 15 bucks at wal-mart right now. You can probably get both seasons for less than $30 including tax.

Wow! That's pretty good. I will let Jujubee know.
