And no. They're horrible musicians. Anyone with three weeks of guitar or bass experience could play anything they've ever written, might take a couple months for the drumming..

Not to mention the tremendously lame lyrics. Teenage angst should be for teenagers, not for immature grown men who wish they were teenagers.

Slipknot are NOT HxC. They're mallcore garbage.

I don't see how you could call yourself a Christian and like music like that. Honestly I don't, not trying to start a war. Have you even seen the lyrics? Here is one example:

first off wrong forum this band is secular music not Christian music, anyways i used to like them a while back this was long ago before i converted, theyre not metal they are nu-metal (metalcore, mallcore, blah however other ppl call it) cory (main vocalist) has some serious issues and i could relate to him in a way thats why i liked them but i dont feel like that anymore cause i got Jesus Christ now

I don't listen to slip knot all the time. THey are very talented in my opinion, even though their lyrics tend to be immature, i still love their sound. I can't understand half the stuff they say anyways, I know it's about anger and other small things like that, which are things I deal with and it helps me vent.
