  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Thanks ladies!!!

the main reason why I am looking into a sling is for breastfeeding, I am thinking that it will be easier and more private because we do have a lot of places to go and I will be toting the little one along, and I just think it will be easier for feeding.

What are your opinions?

I personally love and recommend Hotslings (hotslings.com). They're a little on the pricey side, but not terrible-and you can usually find them on ebay slightly used for less. You can use them from birth, but I got mine when my youngest was 8 months old, and it was well worth it then. I actually got 2 (they come in all different patterns and fabrics), and ended up giving them both away to friends. I wish I hadn't because I could still use them for carrying my 3 year old when we go out for long periods.

There's a local store that sells them near me, so now that we're going to have another little bean joining us, I can't wait to get over there and get a new sling.
