My husband and I sleep in the same bed when we can. Our 4 yr old won't go to sleep inless Daddy takes him and lays next to him. Not mommy, Daddy!! It's sweet though, they both blow me kisses on the way up the stairs. SInce my hubby works hard all day, he sometimes falls asleep too. And our son won't go to sleep in his own room, and since I'm pregnant, Michael has to trensfer him to his bed. When I know Reed is good and asleep, I go upstairs and sometimes have to wake Michael to move Reed. He doesn't always wake up. He's a hard sleeper. So I go to our son's room. If my hubby wakes in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, he'll wake me and then transfer our son. So it's really touch and go. We sleep together as much as possible though.

My husband and I always go to bed together at the same time, every once in a while he will want to stay up and play video games (maybe once a month) or I am up cramming for an exam or writing a paper but we both admit that we can't sleep very well without each other. I guess we don't want to take granted any time that we spend together because he is in the military and we spent the first 5 months of our marriage apart (he was in Iraq) and he will be leaving again for a few months soon:(

my hubby would like me to go to bed with him, he's dissapointed sometimes when I don't. The problem is we both have different schedules, he always goes to bed at aprox 10-11 pm, but as for me, I'm a night owl and work nights, and on my nights off I am up most all the night, though occassionally I'll deprive myself of sleeping long during day so I can sleep at me. But I actually enjoy my alone time, when my hubby and son are sleeping, I can do what I want, and a lot of times I need that quiet time without any ties to meditate on things being how I'm a thinker. Mine works a mixture of day and evening shifts, hardly the same shift two days in a row, along with every other weekend. Very seldom do either of us go to bed or get up at the same time. It is very nice when we do cause I like to snuggle - not for long, tho, cause he is a human furnace.
