I'm having sleep issues. I have two speeds: flat out (one could say hypomanic), and sleepy-derpy-dopey-dozing.
I'm an afternoon/evening person, not a morning person. I struggle to get up in the morning. By lunchtime, I'm either so tired I'm hanging out for 4:00 to go home and sleep, Or I'm starting to speed up, so by 2 or 3am I'm swinging from the chandeliers, or poking the dog awake "psst. wanna go for a walk?"
I have sleeping pills, and on occasion I do use them to get to sleep, but nothing seems to help me get up in the morning ....let alone be cheerful about it.
I have thought about one of those blue-light doo-dads that wakes you up like daylight. Has anyone her used one? To what effect?
Hehehe - I'm in a church care group, and once I said that my prayer for myself was to get a good night's sleep. Well, I got 24 hours! I must have needed it. Thing is, the people in the group wondered why I wasn't in church the next day. It seems God's plans for me were elsewhere. Be careful what you wish for.... !
