Skype/Facetime?

Hi! Are there any groups studying the Bible via Skype or using some other online means to get together? I mean, there are so many possibilities nowadays, like minded individuals can get together from all across the country and have their own bible study. I find it difficult to find any in my area, and being a catholic, it is virtually impossible to find one at a local catholic church. And oddly enough, I don't see any going on or listed on protestant church websites local to me either, or they are at terrible times for me. I would really like to be a part of something like that. Thanks!

That's a fairly good idea. I suppose just leaving it open ended might become a terrible mess (such as with Catholics, Baptists, Eastern Orthodox, etc. all part of the same study group). But like-minded individuals... yes, I could see that working nicely. And it would be terribly convenient so long as you could agree on times together. No traveling, no rushing to get ready. Heck you could even join without having taken a bath. Who would be able to pick up your scent anyway? (lol).

Thank you, I think it would be awesome. And I just want to learn, so being a Catholic is no obstacle for me. You can be sure I won't be trying to sway anyone on the merits of the catholic perspective. I want to learn. Maybe I should post something similar to my original post in the Baptist area or something like that. Worth a shot.
